BeerFestivals.org is the Internet's most comprehensive source of information about beer festivals and other tasting events around the world. Last year, we provided the lowdown on 692 festivals from 18 countries, from Canada to Estonia to New Zealand and, of course, the U.S. and Great Britain. We expect to cover even more events listed in 2008.

This site is brought to you by Michigan-based freelance writer Paul Ruschmann, a beer enthusiast who's traveled to many of the world's "hop spots." It's his way of saying "cheers" to his fellow beer lovers, wherever they are. Beerfestivals.org is a labor of love for Paul, whose "day job" is analyzing and writing about legal and public policy issues. You can see more of his work on his website www.paulruschmann.com.

Beerfestivals.org wouldn't be possible without the efforts of Maryanne Nasiatka, who's spent many hours designing the site and still more time--not to mention can after can of fairy dust--solving those technical problems that never seem to go away. In real life, Maryanne is Paul's wife and valued partner in all of life's endeavors. You can find more of her work at
www.sabat.com.

Our beer-related features first appeared online seven years ago, and we've covered a lot of ground since then. In 2003, Paul and Maryanne became the "Beer Travelers" at
All About Beer magazine, taking readers on a tour of beer destinations from Michigan to Maine to Munich.

This site also wouldn't be possible without the help of countless festival organizers, brewery staff, beer writers, and festival-goers around the world, who have helped provide much of the information we've put together here. Thanks to all of you!

We'd like to hear from you. If you'd like to tell us about a festival, tell us about a great place to drink beer, or simply tell us how we're doing just fill out the contact form.

On this site, you'll also find links to the Web's best beer sites and reviews of worthwhile books about beer.

We hope our site inspires you to make 2007 "The Year of the Beer Festival." In the meantime, pull out a cold one and share our adventures. The door is always open.

Cheers!
