2-4: Stevenage Winter Beer Festival, Stevenage, England

The North Herts Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the second annual Stevenage Winter Beer Festival, which will take place at the Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre. This is a three-day event. Last year’s festival featured more than 80 Real Ales and ciders, along with a selection of international beers and food for purchase.

2-4: Tewkesbury Winter Ales Festival, Tewkesbury, England

The Tewkesbury Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 22nd annual Tewkesbury Winter Ales Festival, which will take place at George Watson Hall. This three-day event will feature 80 winter ales, along with a selection of local ciders and perries. Food will be available for purchase.

3-4: Dorchester Beerex, Dorchester, England

The West Dorset Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 29th annual Dorchester Beerex, which will take place at the Corn Exchange. This is a two-day, four-session event. Recent editions of this festival have featured more than 80 Real Ales and ciders, food for purchase, and live entertainment Saturday evening. This event is a fund-raiser for a local charity.

3-4: Extreme Beer Fest, Boston, MA

Beer Advocate magazine presents the 14th annual Extreme Beer Fest, which will take place at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. This two-day, three-session event will feature an expanded selection of more than 250 "extreme" beers from over 70 breweries. Food will be available for purchase.

3-5: Weatheroak Hill Beer Festival, Weatheroak Hill, England

The 2017 Weatheroak Hill Beer Festival will be held at the Coach and Horses Inn in Weatheroak Hill. This three-day family- and dog-friendly event will feature 21 ales and seven ciders, along with a specialist gin and prosecco bar. Homemade bar snacks will be available for purchase. Admission is free, and inn has a large car park.

3: Western New York Winter Brewfest, Tonawanda, NY

The 2017 Western New York Winter Brewfest will take place at a new venue, the historic Tonawanda Castle in downtown Tonawanda. This evening event will feature the products of around 30 breweries and cideries. There will also be live music; games, including Giant Jenga and Yard Scrabble; and a cornhole tournament. The Western New York “Wine About Winter” festival will be held at the same time and location as the Brewfest, and combination tickets are available for both.

3-4: White Cliffs Festival of Winter Ales, Dover, England

The Deal, Dover, Sandwich & District Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 24th annual White Cliffs Festival of Winter Ales, which will take place at Maison Dieu (Town Hall) in Dover, the country's oldest festival venue. This is a two-day event. Recent editions have featured around 75 winter ales and strong ales, with at least 5% ABV and from small and independent breweries; live music; food for purchase; a CAMRA stall; and a tombola.

3: Zoo Brrrew, Rochester, NY

The Seneca Park Zoo, in Rochester, will host Zoo Brrrew 2017. This event, to be held inside a heated pavilion, will feature a cash bar with seasonal beers, wines, coffee, and soda. There will also be live music, food for purchase, and a prize drawing. The price of admission includes entry to the zoo that evening. Part of the proceeds will go to the International Elephant Foundation.

4: Beer Dabbler Showcase at the Winter Carnival, St. Paul, MN

The eighth annual Beer Dabbler Showcase at the Winter Carnival will take place on the midway of the Minnesota State Fair in St. Paul. This late-afternoon event, which organizers describe as the state’s largest outdoor beer festival, will feature the products of more than 150 breweries and cideries. There will also be a homebrew competition, live entertainment, food for purchase, and a silent disco. “Very Important Dabbler” tickets, with early admission, a special selection of beers, and a catered meal, are available.

4: Bonita Brew Fest, Bonita Springs, FL

BrewFest Partners presents the third annual Bonita Brew Fest, which will take place at Childers Park in Bonita Springs. This late-afternoon event will feature more than 100 craft beers and ciders, many of them from Florida, along with a selection of ciders. There will be live reggae music, and food trucks will be on hand. The festival is a benefit for the Salt Warriors.

4: Brewers of Indiana Guild Winterfest, Indianapolis, IN

The Brewers of Indiana Guild presents the ninth annual Winterfest, which will take place at a new and larger venue, the West Pavilion on the Indiana State Fairgrounds. This afternoon event will feature hundreds of beers from more than 100 breweries, most of them from Indiana. There will be live entertainment, along with food for purchase. Early Bird tickets are available.

4-5: Bruges Beer Festival, Bruges, Belgium

The Bruges Autonomous Beertasters, in cooperation with the municipality of Bruges, present the tenth annual Bruges Beer Festival, which will take place in Beursplain. This is a two-day event. Recent editions have featured more than 300 beers from over 70 Belgian breweries, with brewers in attendance. Food from local restaurants will be available for purchase.

3-4: Festibiere d’Hiver, Gatineau, QC, Canada

La Chapelle presents Festibiere d’Hiver 2017, which will take place at the Museum of Canadian History in Gatineau. This two-day event will feature more than 100 beers from over 30 breweries, most of them from Quebec and Ontario. There will also be an educational program, live entertainment, a bonfire, and food prepared by museum head chef Martin De Board.

4: Great Beer Expo at the Meadowlands, Secaucus, NJ

Starfish Junction Productions presents the seventh annual International Great Beer Expo at the Meadowlands, which will take place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus. There will be two tasting sessions, each with more than 150 beers from more than 80 breweries. There will also be an educational program, and food will be available for purchase. The festival charity is Kids Need More.

4: Queen City Brewers Festival, Charlotte, NC

The sixth annual Queen City Brewers Festival will be held at The Fillmore at NC Music Factory in Charlotte. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with beer from more than 30 breweries from the Charlotte area. There will also be live music, food samples, and works from local artists. Proceeds will benefit ACEing Autism.

4: Springfield on Tap, West Springfield, MA

America on Tap presents the second annual Springfield on Tap, which will take place in the Young Building at the Eastern States Exhibition in West Springfield. This afternoon event will feature more than 130 beers from over 50 American craft breweries. There will also be live music, and food and merchandise will be available for purchase. 4-11: Volusia Beer Week, Volusia County, FL

The eighth annual Volusia Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in DeLand and Volusia County. The headline event of this ten-day celebration is the DeLand Craft Beer Festival. Headline events also include “Brews and Botwies”, a “Drink Volusia Bus Tour”, and “History By the Pint”. There will be other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

5: Calm Before the Storm, Escondido, CA

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens will host the 2017 Calm Before the Storm. This midday event, which kicks off “Super Sunday”, will feature the rarest beers from Stone’s cellar. Festival-goers will be given a choice of eight beers chosen by Craft Beer Ambassador “Dr.” Bill Sysak, along with food courses prepared by Stone’s Executive Chef.

9-18: Arizona Beer Week, statewide

The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild presents the seventh annual Arizona Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout the state. The headline event of this ten-day celebration is the Arizona Strong Beer Festival. There will be many other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

9-11: Fleetwood CAMRA Beer Festival, Fleetwood, England

The Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 35th Fleetwood CAMRA Beer Festival, which will take place at Marine Hall. Recent editions of this three-day event have featured more than 120 Real Ales, world beers, and ciders; live entertainment Friday and Saturday evenings; and food for purchase.

10-12: Braukunst Live!, Munich, Germany

Finest Spirits presents the sixth annual Braukunst Live!, which will take place at in the MVG-Museum in Munich. Recent editions of this three-day event have featured beer from 100 breweries from Germany, Europe, and the U.S.; a selection of whiskeys; and an educational program, with open-stage discussions and special tasting sessions (extra admission charge). The festival website is entirely in German.

10-12: Hucknall Beer Festival, Hucknall, England

The 2017 Hucknall Beer Festival will be held at the John Godber Centre. This is a three-day event, produced with the assistance of the Nottingham Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale. Last year’s event featured beer from more than 30 small breweries, a selection of ciders and perries, a farmers' market Saturday afternoon, and live music Saturday evening.

10-11: Ilkley Beer Festival, Ilkley, England

Ilkley and District Round Table presents the tenth Ilkley Beer Festival, which will take place at Ilkley King's Hall. This two-day, three-session event (preceded by a sponsors-only session) will feature more than 150 beers from over 50 U.K. breweries, along with a selection of ciders and perries and food for purchase. All proceeds from the festival will go to local charities.

10-11: KLCC Microbrew Festival, Eugene, OR

The 16th annual KLCC Microbrew Festival will be held at the Lane Events Center Exhibit Hall in Eugene. This two-day event will feature the products of more than 80 breweries and cideries, including a special collaboration beer. There will also be a homebrew competition, live music, snacks, and a music sale with thousands of records and CDs. All proceeds will go to KLCC 89.7 FM, Eugene's National Public Radio station.

10-19: San Francisco Beer Week, San Francisco Bay Area, CA

The San Francisco Brewers Guild presents San Francisco Beer Week 2017, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout the Bay Area. This ten-day celebration gets underway with the Opening Gala. There will be hundreds of other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

10: SF Beer Week Opening Gala, San Francisco, CA

The San Francisco Brewers Guild presents the 2017 SF Beer Week Opening Gala, which will take place at Pier 48. This evening event, which kicks off Beer Week, will feature beer from 125 breweries, most of them from northern California. Food will be available for purchase.

11: Arizona Strong Beer Festival, Phoenix, AZ

The Arizona Brewers Guild presents the 17th annual Arizona Strong Beer Festival, which will take place at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. This afternoon event will feature more than 400 beers from 130 breweries, with an emphasis on high-gravity beers. There will also be live music and food for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission, a food voucher, and admission to Friday evening’s Brewers Reception, are available.

11: Bangor on Tap, Bangor, ME

America on Tap presents the third annual Bangor on Tap, which will take place at the Cross Insurance Center. There will be afternoon and evening sessions, each with more than 100 beers from over 50 American craft breweries. There will also be live music, and food and merchandise will be available for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission and a food voucher, are available for the evening session.

11: Brewbies Festival, Oceanside, CA

The eighth annual Brewbies Festival will take place at the Bagby Beer Company in Oceanside. This is an afternoon event. Last year’s edition featured beer from 35 breweries, most of them from southern California; and some of the beers were pink-colored festival specials. All proceeds will go to the Keep a Breast Foundation.

11: Cider Summit, Chicago, IL

The fifth annual Cider Summit will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the Navy Pier in Chicago. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 150 domestic and imported ciders. There will also be food pairings, cider associations’ display booths, and an event store. The festival will benefit The Great Lakes Cider & Perry Association and Heartland Alliance.

11: DeLand Craft Beer Festival, DeLand, FL

The eighth annual DeLand Craft Beer Festival will be held downtown on East Indiana Avenue. This afternoon event will feature more than 300 beers from over 80 breweries, including many Florida-brewed beers.

11: Hops & Props Craft Beer Festival, Garden City, NY

The Cradle of Aviation Museum, in Garden City, will host the 2017 Hops & Props Craft Beer Festival. This evening event, to be held on the amid the museum's aircraft exhibits, will feature more than 100 craft beers, including a selection of beers brewed on Long Island. There will also be entertainment, and food and merchandise will be available for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission and a special selection of beers, are available.

11: Pint with the Past, Hickory Corners, MI

The Gilmore Car Museum, in the Kalamazoo-area community of Hickory Corners, will host the sixth annual annual “Pint with the Past” beer tasting. This is an evening event. Last year’s festival featured beer from a dozen breweries, along with a cash bar, live music, and complimentary appetizers. Attendees are invited to view the museum's more than 150 automobiles and two special exhibits.

11: Right Brain Collaboration Day, Traverse City, MI

Right Brain Brewery, in Traverse City, will host its third annual Collaboration Day. This all-day event will feature collaboration beers by Right Brain and five northwest Michigan breweries, a braggot-style collaboration from a local meadery, and barrel-aged collaborations from a local distillery and a winery. There will also be live music, food for purchase, and artworks on display.

11: Sioux Empire on Tap, Sioux Falls, SD

America on Tap presents third annual Sioux Empire on Tap, which will take place at the Sioux Falls Arena. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 100 beers from over 50 American craft breweries. 11: Traverse City Winter Microbrew & Music Festival, Traverse City, MI

Porterhouse Productions presents the eighth annual Traverse City Winter Microbrew & Music Festival, which will take place downtown in the parking lot of the Sara Hardy Farmer’s Market. This afternoon/evening event will feature beer from more than 30 Michigan breweries, along with a selection of ciders, meads, and wines. There will be live entertainment, an educational program, a homebrew competition, and food for purchase. “Early Bird” tickets, with a special selection of beers, are available. Festival proceeds will go to several local nonprofit organizations.

11: Winter Brewfest Vermont, Burlington, VT

The 2017 Winter Brewfest Vermont will be held at the Sheraton Burlington. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions. Each session will feature beer from more than 30 Vermont breweries, served on two floors in three conference halls. There will also be an educational program, live music, food pairings, and giant adult party games.

12: Chocofest, Seattle, WA

Pike Brewing Company, in Seattle, will host the 2017 Chocofest. This Valentine’s Day evening event will feature a variety of beers (including cask selections), along with ciders, wines, and spirits. The There will be live music; and the price of admission includes unlimited tastings of chocolates, other sweets, and food from local restaurants. Chocofest is a benefit for Puget Soundkeeper.

15-18: Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival, Chelmsford, England

The Chelmsford & Mid-Essex Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 18th annual Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival, which will take place at the King Edward VI Grammar School. This four-day event will feature more than 170 Real Ales, with an emphasis on winter beers; over 50 Real Ciders, perries, and pyders; a LocAle bar; and a selection of local wines. Hot and cold food will be available for purchase.

15-18: Liverpool Beer Festival, Liverpool, England

The Liverpool & Districts Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2017 Liverpool Beer Festival, which will take place at the Metropolitan Catholic Cathedral Crypt in Liverpool. This is a four-day, six-session event. Recent editions of this festival have featured more than 200 Real Ales, along with a selection of ciders, perries, fruit wines, and soft drinks. Food will be available, and there will be entertainment during evening sessions.

16-18: Luton Beer & Cider Fest, Luton, England

The Luton Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 34th Luton Beer & Cider Fest, which will take place at the Hightown Community Sports & Arts Centre. This three-day event will feature more than 100 Real Ales, over 20 Real Ciders and perries, and a wide selection of bottled beers. There will be live music on Friday and Saturday.

16-18: St. Louis Centennial Beer Festival, St. Louis, MO

The ninth annual St. Louis Centennial Beer Festival will be held at Moulin Events & Meetings, a restored malt house that dates back to 1876. This two-day, three-session event will feature 200 domestic and foreign beers from 80 breweries, including beers from 25 St. Louis-area breweries. VIP tickets, with a special selection of beers served inside the Malt House Cellar, are available for both Saturday sessions. A Yoga + Beer Festival Preview will be held Wednesday evening; and a brewmaster's dinner, featuring Modern Brewing Company, take placer Thursday evening. 17-19: Belgian Fest, Baltimore, MD

Max’s Taproom, in Baltimore, will host the 2017 edition of Belgian Fest. This three-day event will feature more than 200 draft and over 250 bottled Belgian and Belgian-style beers. A full Belgian-inspired menu will be served. Admission to the taproom is free.

17-18: Boston Spa Beer Festival, Boston Spa, England

The Village Hall Management Committee and the Friends of St. Mary's School present the ninth annual Boston Spa Beer Festival, which will take place at the Village Hall. This two-day event will feature dozens of beers, many of them from Yorkshire, served at three bars, along with ciders, wines, and prosecco. There will also be live entertainment, food for purchase, and games. Proceeds will fund projects at the Village Hall and the school.

17-18: Cincy Winter Beerfest, Cincinnati, OH

Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Rock Bottom Brewery, and The Party Source present the tenth annual Cincy Winter Beerfest, which will take place at the Duke Energy Convention Center. This two-day, three-session event will feature more than 500 beers from over 150 craft breweries. There will be live music, along with food from Cincinnati restaurants. “Connoisseur Reception” tickets, with super-premium draft and large format beers and appetizers from local restaurants, are available. All proceeds will benefit the Big Joe Duskin Music Education Foundation.

17-26: Omaha Beer Week, Omaha, NE

The sixth annual Omaha Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the Omaha metropolitan area. The headline event of this ten-day celebration is Beertopia’s Extreme Beerfest. There will be many other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

18: Bach & Beer, Winter Park, FL

The Bach Festival Society and the Cask & Larder brewpub present Bach & Beer, which will take place at the brewpub in Winter Park. The highlight of this afternoon event is the release of a limited-edition beer, Brandenburger Bock, which commemorates the 82nd Annual Bach Festival. There will also be a live performance by members of the Bach Festival Choir and Orchestra. In addition, the brewpub has invited several local breweries to showcase their beers.

18: Baton Rouge on Tap, Baton Rouge, LA

America on Tap presents the second annual Baton Rouge on Tap, which will take place at the Baton Rouge River Center. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 130 beers from over 65 American craft breweries. 18: Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue Festival, Tampa, FL

Trigger Agency, LLC, presents the Tampa stop of the Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue Festival. It will take place at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. This afternoon event will feature unlimited sampling of 60 beers and 40 bourbons. There will also be live bluegrass music; barbecue, Southern specialties, and other foods; and seminars led by master distillers, brewmasters, and pit masters. VIP tickets, with early admission and a special selection of bacon dishes, are available.

18: Dubuque On Ice Brewfest, Dubuque, IA

Mystique Casino presents the sixth annual Dubuque On Ice Brewfest, which will take place at the Mystique Community Ice Center. 18: Festival of Dark Arts, Astoria, OR

The Fort George Brewery & Public House, in Astoria, will host the 2017 Festival of Dark Arts. This all-day event will feature more than 60 stouts, many of them bold or rare. The lineup of continuous macabre entertainment includes live music; circus acts; artists; and craftspeople working with iron, glass, ice, and chainsaws. Food will be available for purchase.

18: Florida Craft Beer & Wingfest, Vero Beach, FL

Vero Beach Sunrise Rotary presents the 2017 Florida Craft Beer & Wingfest, which will take place at Royal Palm Pointe Park in Vero Beach. This family-friendly afternoon event will feature more than 150 craft beers. There will also be a homebrew competition, a “Best Vero Wings” competition, live music on two stages, and wings and other food for purchase. Admission is free. Proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club’s charitable projects.

18: Food & Froth Fest, Milwaukee, WI

The Friends of the Milwaukee Public Museum and Potawatomi Hotel and Casino present the 19th annual Food & Froth Fest, which will take place at the museum. This is an evening event. Recent editions of this festival have featured more than 300 beers from more than 100 providers, many of them from the Midwest. Live bands and food vendors will be on hand on the exhibit floors. 18: Great Australian Beer Festival, Geelong, Victoria, Australia

The fifth annual Great Australian Beer Festival will be held at Geelong Racecourse. This daytime event will feature more than 200 Australian and international beers, served at pop-up bars and in terraced gardens. There will also be educational presentations about beer and brewing; live music on two stages; entertainment, including comedy, cabaret, and roving performers; and food for purchase, with an emphasis on barbecue and slow-cooked dishes. The third Annual Hops for Heroes Craft Beer Festival will be held at Ferg's Sportsbar on in St. Petersburg. The festival is a fund-raiser for the Road Warrior Foundation, in which military veterans ride across the country.

18: Meet the Brewers, San Jose, CA

The Hermitage Brewing Company, in San Jose, will host the eighth annual Meet the Brewers Beer Festival. This afternoon event will feature beer from 30 breweries, all of them located within 150 miles of San Jose. There will be live music, and food will be available for purchase.

18: San Diego Winter Brew Fest, San Diego, CA

Right on Productions presents the 2017 San Diego Winter Brew Fest, which will take place in the San Diego Hall of Champions at Balboa Park. This evening event will feature beer from more than 30 breweries, most of them from California. There will also be live local music, and food and merchandise vendors will be on hand. 18: Tailspin Ale Fest, Louisville, KY

The fourth annual Tailspin Ale Fest will be held inside a revived World War II-era airplane hangar at Louisville Executive Aviation. This is an afternoon event. Recent editions of this festival have featured 200 beers from more than 55 breweries, including a ciders-and-sours bar and a selection of Kentucky-brewed beers. 18: Wakefest, Miami, FL

The J. Wakefield Brewing Company presents the second annual Wakefest, which will take place at Mana Wynwood in Miami. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 80 domestic and foreign breweries, including nearly 40 J. Wakefield beers on draft, along with a selection of bottled beers. 18: World Beer Festival-Columbia, Columbia, SC

All About Beer magazine presents the ninth annual Columbia edition of the World Beer Festival, which will take place at a new and larger venue, the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. The Oregon Brewers Guild presents the ninth annual Zwickelmania, a statewide brewery open house. More than 120 breweries in six regions of Oregon will invite the public to take tours, meet the brewers, and taste their favorite beers. 21-25: Saratoga Beer Week, Saratoga, NY

Saratoga Beer Week 2017 will take place at bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the Saratoga Springs area. The headline events of this celebration are the Saratoga Beer Summit and Saratoga Cider Night. There will be a number of other events such as food and beer pairings, special tastings, and reduced-price pints.

22-25: National Winter Ales Festival, Derby, England

The Campaign for Real Ale presents the 40th annual National Winter Ales Festival, which will take place in Derby at the Roundhouse, the world's first and oldest surviving railway roundhouse. This is a four-day event. Recent editions have featured more than 300 selections, including ales from across the UK, foreign beers, bottled beers, ciders, perries, and meads. The Champion Beer of Britain competition, in four style categories, will take place at the festival. There will also be live music and food for purchase. A Press and Trade session will take place the day before the festival itself.

23-25: Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fair, Dublin, Ireland

The fifth annual Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fair will be held at the Convention Centre Dublin. This three-day event, which organizers describe as Ireland’s largest beer festival, will feature a host of local and international craft beers, along with judged Dublin Craft Beer Cup and Dublin Cider Cup competitions. Food and merchandise vendors will be on hand, a variety of local musicians will perform, and Six Nations rugby matches will be shown on large-screen TVs.

24-25: Alton Winter Beer Festival, Alton, England

The 2017 Alton Winter Beer Festival will be held at Alton College. This two-day, three-session festival, which celebrates the town’s brewing tradition, will feature Real Ales from more than 20 breweries, including a selection of dark ales. There will be live entertainment, and food will be available for purchase. The festival is a fund-raiser for local charities.

23-25: Bradford Beer Festival, Saltaire, England

The Bradford Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2017 Bradford Beer Festival, which will take place at Victoria Hall in Saltaire. This three-day event will feature more than 125 Real Ales, ciders, and perries, along with foreign beers and fruit wines. There will also be tutored tastings, live entertainment, food for purchase, and a tombola.

23-25: Stockton Ale & Arty Beer Festival, Stockton-on-Tees, England

The Cleveland Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2017 Stockton Ale & Arty Beer Festival, which will take place at ARC in Stockton-on-Tees. This three-day event will feature more than 80 Real Ales, ciders, and perries. There will be live entertainment, including live music and comedy; a tombola; and food for purchase.

24-25: Clarens Craft Beer Festival, Clarens, South Africa

The seventh annual Clarens Craft Beer Festival will be held at Clarens Village Square, a picturesque venue surrounded by the Maluti Mountains. This two-day event will feature more than 120 beers from over 20 South African breweries. Local bands will perform, and food will be available for purchase.

24-25: Michigan Brewers Guild Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids, MI

The Michigan Brewers Guild presents the 12th annual Winter Beer Festival, which will take place in the parking lot of Fifth Third Ballpark in Grand Rapids. This outdoor festival, which takes place "snow, rain, or shine,” will feature more than 1,000 beers from over 100 Michigan breweries, with an emphasis on "big" and barrel-aged beers. Some of the beers will be rare or vintage. There will be live music, and food will be available for purchase.

24: Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild Winterfest, Minneapolis, MN

The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild presents the 16th annual Winterfest, which will take place at a new venue, the Delta Sky360 Club at Target Field in Minneapolis. This evening event will feature craft beer from more than than 100 Minnesota breweries and brewpubs. There will also be a beer education program, live music, and catered food. “Best of Fest” winners will be awarded the “Great Snowshoe Award”.

24-25: North Sussex Equinox Beer & Cider Festival, Horsham, England

The North Sussex Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2017 North Sussex Equinox Beer & Cider Festival, which will take place at Horsham Drill Hall. This two-day, three-session event will feature more than 50 beers, along with a selection of ciders and perries. There will be music Saturday evening, and food will be available for purchase at all sessions.

24-25: Pittsburgh Winter Beerfest, Pittsburgh, PA

The fourth annual Pittsburgh Winter Beerfest will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. This two-evening event will feature more than 400 beers from over 125 craft breweries. There will be live music, along with food Pittsburgh restaurants. "Connoisseurs Reception” tickets, with a selection of super-premium draft and large format beers and appetizers from local restaurants, are available. The festival charity is Animal Rescue Partners.

24-25: Rugby Beer & Cider Festival, Rugby, England

The Rugby Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2017 Rugby Beer & Cider Festival, which will take place at Arnold House. This two-day event will feature more than 30 Real Ales, along with a selection of ciders and perries and a foreign beer bar. There will also be a tombola, pub games, and an auction.

24: Saratoga Cider Night, Saratoga Springs, NY

Saratoga Beer Week presents the third annual Saratoga Cider Night, which will take place at the Saratoga Springs City Center. This evening event will feature the products of more than 30 cideries from across the country. There will be live music, and food will be available for purchase.

24-25: SLO Craft Beer Fest, San Luis Obispo, CA

The Craft Beer Coalition presents the 2017 SLO Craft Beer Fest, which will return to the Alex Madonna Event Center in San Luis Obispo. This two-day event will feature beer from more than 40 breweries, many of them from California. There will also be live entertainment, an educational program, food and beer pairings, and food for purchase. 

24-25: Winterfest XXV, Gosport, England

The Plymouth and South East Hants branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents Gosport Winterfest XXV, which will take place at Thorngate Halls. This two-day event will feature more than 100 Real Ales, along with ciders, perries, and bottled beers. The emphasis will be on beers from local breweries and small UK breweries. There will also be live entertainment.

24-25: Wurstfest, Mt. Angel, OR

The ninth annual Mt. Angel Wurstfest will be held in the Mount Angel Festhalle. This two-day, family-friendly celebration of German sausage will feature beers from Warsteiner, Coors, and Oregon’s 7 Brides Brewery, along with a selection of wines. There will also be Oktoberfest-style music, dancing, and a variety of food for purchase. Weekend activities will include a German Mardi Gras, 5-K and 10-K races, appearances by dance groups and local schoolchildren, and family activities. Proceeds will benefit community improvement projects and activities.

25: Extreme Beerfest, Ralston, NE

Beertopia, a beer bar in Omaha, presents the 11th annual Extreme Beerfest, which will take place at the Ralston Arena. This afternoon/evening event will feature more than 300 rare and strong beers, many of them above 7% ABV. There will also be an educational program. VIP tickets, with early admission, a special selection of beers, and a swag bag, are available. On Friday evening before the festival, there will be an “Extreme Mix and Mingle”, with beer tasting, brewery representatives on hand, and food pairings.

25: FriendFest, Kutztown, PA

The Optimist Club of Kutztown presents the 2017 FriendFest Benefit Beer and Wine Festival, which will take place in Beltzner Hall on the Kutztown Fairgrounds. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with beer and wine from Pennsylvania and the East Coast. There will also be live entertainment, and food and merchandise vendors will be on hand. All proceeds will go to the Optimist Club’s children's programs.

25: Grand Minnesota Taste-Together, Hinckley, MN

The Grand Casino Hinckley will host the 2017 Grand Minnesota Taste-Together, which will take place at the casino’s Event Center. This afternoon/evening event will feature more than 200 local, national, and imported beers, along with a selection of wines. Dropkick Murphys and Blood or Whiskey will perform after the festival itself. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.

25: Hillsdale Brewfest, Portland, OR

McMenamin's Hillsdale Brewery and Public House will host the 24th annual Hillsdale Brewfest. The festival features the "Battle for the Belt," with more than 20 ales from McMenamins' breweries competing for the championship belt and a berth in the Oregon Brewers Festival in July. The winner will be chosen by a vote of festival-goers. Food will be available for purchase, and admission to the festival itself is free.

25: KC Brew Fest, Kansas City, MO

The 2017 KC Brew Fest will be held on the plaza at historic Union Station in Kansas City. This afternoon event will feature more than 100 beers from over 40 breweries, including many frmoMidwestern breweries. There will also be live music, and food will be available for purchase. 25: Kennett Winterfest, Kennett Square, PA

Kennett Brewfest, Historic Kennett Square, and MacElree Harvey present the fifth annual Kennett Winterfest, which will take place downtown. This afternoon event, to be held outdoors under a tent, will feature beer from more than 50 craft breweries. The Shady Groove Trio will perform, and a food truck will be at the site. “Def Conn 1.4” tickets, with early admission, a special selection of beers, and gourmet food, are available. The festival is a fund-raiser for Historic Kennett Square.

25: Naperville Winter Ale Fest, Naperville, IL

Lou Dog Events presents the fourth annual Naperville Winter Ale Fest, which will take place at Frontier Park. This afternoon outdoor event will feature more than 150 craft beers from around the country. There will also be live music, and Chicagoland food trucks will be at the park.

25: New London Chamber Beer Tasting, New London, WI

The New London Chamber of Commerce presents its tenth annual Beer Tasting, which will take place at the Crystal Falls Banquet Facility. This evening event will feature more than 75 beverages, including regional and imported beers, wines, and specialty beverages. Festival-goers are invited to vote for Best Beer and Best Beverage. The price of admission includes hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants.

25: Philly Bierfest, Philadelphia, PA

The German Society of Philadelphia presents the sixth annual Philly Bierfest, which will take place at the Society’s 19th-century mansion in the city’s Northern Liberties district. This afternoon event will feature German-style beers from Pennsylvania breweries, along with beers imported from German-speaking Europe. There will also be an educational program, traditional German cuisine, live music, Schuhplattler folk dancing, and an appearance by the Philly Roller Girls. 25-March 6: Portsmouth Beer Week, Portsmouth, NH

2BeerGuys presents the eighth annual Portsmouth Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Portsmouth. The headline event of this ten-day celebration is the Seacoast Winter Brew Fest. There will also be other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

25: Santa Clara Bacon and Beer Classic, Santa Clara, CA

The Santa Clara edition of the 2017 Bacon and Beer Classic take place at Levi’s Stadium. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 100 beers from the area’s craft breweries. There will also be 50 bacon dishes, a giant Jenga, a bungee run, and a bacon-eating contest. VIP tickets, with early admission, a special selection of beers, and exclusive access to the playing field, are available. Part of the proceeds go to local charities.

The Portsmouth Gaslight Company and 2Beerguys.com present the fifth annual Annual Seacoast Winter Brew Fest, which will be held inside the Gaslight Company. 25: Shore Craft Beer Fest, Ocean City, MD

Seacrets, Jamaica USA, an oceanfront nightclub in Ocean City, will host the second annual Shore Craft Beer Fest “Love on Tap” festival. This afternoon event will feature a variety of locally-brewed beers, and brewery representatives will be on hand. There will also be live music. 25: Space Coast Craft Beer Festival, Palm Bay, FL

The Broken Barrel Tavern, in Palm Bay, will host the seventh annual Space Coast Craft Beer Festival. This is an afternoon event. Last year’s festival featured beer from more than 70 Florida, domestic, and foreign breweries, with brewery representatives on hand; live music in the beer garden; and food from the Broken Barrel's kitchen. VIP tickets, with early admission and complimentary food, are available. All proceeds will go to the Space Coast Early Intervention Center.

25: Winter Craft Beer Festival, Boulder, CO

The third annual Wintercraft Festival will be held at the Coors Events Center in Boulder.
