2-9: Cincinnati Beer Week, Cincinnati, OH

The inaugural Cincinnati Beer Week will take place at dozens of locations in and around Cincinnati. This independent, grass-roots celebration of craft beer will feature events such as beer pairing dinners, meet-the-brewer nights, and tap takeovers, and will be followed by the Cincy Winter Beerfest (listed separately on the calendar).

2-4: Pendle Beer Festival, Colne, England

The East Lancashire Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the eighth annual Pendle Beer Festival, which will take place at the Muni Theatre in Colne. This year's festival theme is "Champions," with many local, regional, and national award-winning beers among the more than 75 Real Ales and ciders. The festivities will also include food, live entertainment, and a prize raffle. This event is a fund-raiser for the Pendleside Hospice.

2-4: Tewkesbury CAMRA Winter Ales Festival, Tewkesbury, England

The Tewkesbury Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 17th annual Tewkesbury CAMRA Winter Ales Festival, which will take place at George Watson Hall. Recent editions of this festival have featured more than 70 Real Ales, with an emphasis on winter ales, stouts, and porters, along with local ciders and perries. Thursday's session is limited to card-carrying CAMRA members.

2: Wines and Beers of the World, Milwaukee, WI

The 2012 Wines and Beers of the World will be held at the Milwaukee Zoological Center. This evening event will feature dozens of beers and wines, along with cheese, pizza, desserts, and other snacks. The Primates of the World and Stearns Family Apes of Africa buildings will be open to attendees. VIP tickets, with early admission and a drawing for a behind-the-scenes tour of the zoo, are available. Proceeds from the event will benefit all the animals at the zoo.

3-4: Barley Brothers Winter Ale Festival, McCall, ID

Barley Brothers Winter Ale Festival, described as "America's traveling beer festival," will take place at Alpine Village in McCall. Friday's all-day session will feature Idaho wine and beer, including beer from both of McCall's breweries, and hard cider. Saturday's all-day session will feature more than 100 strong ales, winter warmers, and seasonal beers. The festivities will also include a children's area, fire pits, live bands, and food for purchase.

3-4: BeerAdvocate.com Extreme Beer Fest, Boston, MA

BeerAdvocate.com presents the 2012 Extreme Beer Fest, which will take place at The Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts. On Friday evening there will be the "Night of the Barrels," with more than 60 barrel-aged beers, along with snacks. On Saturday, there will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 125 beers, beer-friendly food, and educational panels hosted by Andy Crouch for VIP ticket holders. This event is sold out.

3-4: Chesterfield Beer Festival, Chesterfield, England

The Chesterfield Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 14th annual Chesterfield Beer Festival, which will take place at The Winding Wheel. There will be lunchtime and evening sessions both days, each with 120 beers from around the U.K., along with ciders, perries, world beers, and country wines. There will be live entertainment Friday evening and at both Saturday sessions.

3-4: Dorchester Beerex, Dorchester, England

Dorchester Round Table, together with Dorchester Ellipse and the West Dorset Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale, present the 2012 Dorchester Beerex, which will take place at the Corn Exchange in Dorchester. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions both days (80 Real Ales and Real Ciders were available at last year's event). Food will be available, and there will be live music during the evening. This year's festival charities are Round Table Children's Wish and the RNLI.

3-4: Jersey Winter Ales Festival, Isle of Jersey

The Jersey Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2012 Jersey Winter Ales Festival, which will take place in the St James Centre. More than 40 different beers and ciders will be available, food will be served, Six Nations rugby matches will be shown on large-screen television on Saturday afternoon, and there will be live music on Saturday evening.

3-4: Lichfield Winter Beer & Wine Festival, Lichfield, England

Lichfield Arts presents the 2012 of the Lichfield Winter Beer & Wine Festival, which will take place at Donegal House. This community event will feature at least 35 Real Ales, mainly from small Midlands breweries, along with traditional ciders, European draft beers, and over 20 wines from all parts of the world. There will also be a choice of food, including "the famous pork pies," and music by two live bands.

3: Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild Winterfest, St. Paul, MN

The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild presents the 11th annual Winterfest, which will take place at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul. This evening event will feature Minnesota-brewed craft beer, along with live music, food, and the opportunity to vote for best brewery, with the Great Snowshoe Award going to the winner. This event is likely to sell out.

3-12: Omaha Beer Week, Omaha, NE

The inaugural Omaha Beer Week will take place at various locations in the Omaha metropolitan area. It will be headlined by the Extreme Beerfest from Beertopia. Other events will include special tappings, tap takeovers, pint nights, brewery tours, and beer dinners.

3-4: Redditch Winter Ale Festival, Redditch, England

The Redditch & Bromsgrove Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the Redditch Winter Ale Festival, which will take place at a new venue, Rocklands Social Club. This event will feature 33 Real Ales, along with ciders and perries; and a club bar with food and other drinks;. Part of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

3-4: White Cliffs Festival of Winter Ales, Dover, England

The Deal, Dover, Sandwich & District Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 19th annual White Cliffs Festival of Winter Ales, which will take place at Maison DIeu (Town Hall) in Dover. Organizers expect to have about 75 winter and strong ales, all with at least 5% ABV, along with a local cider. Live musical acts will perform on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, food will be available for purchase, and there will be a CAMRA stall and tombola.

3: Zoo Brrrew, Rochester, NY

The Seneca Park Zoo, located in Rochester, will host Zoo Brrrew. This evening event will feature an assortment of seasonal beers and New York State wines served inside a heated pavilion. Last year's festivities also included live music and wood-fired pizza, jambalaya, chili, and desserts; and attendees were given a free ticket to one of this year's Zoo Brews.

4: AleFest Columbus, Columbus, OH

The 2012 AleFest Columbus will be held at the Aladdin Shrine Center Ballroom. This afternoon event will feature more than 180 craft-brewed beers from over 70 breweries, including rare draft beers and cask-conditioned ales; food available for purchase; a cheese sampling; live entertainment by Nick Mitchell; beer wearables and merchandise for sale; and a silent auction and raffle.

4: Belgianfest, Seattle, WA

The Washington Beer Commission presents the 2012 Belgianfest, which this year moves to a new venue, Bell Harbor International Conference Center on Seattle’s waterfront. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 50 Belgian-style beers crafted by Washington breweries and made with Belgian yeast.

4: Border Beer Fest, Laredo, TX

L&F Distributors and Gold Rush present the inaugural Border Beer Fest, which will take place at L.I.F.E. Downs Pavilion on U.S. 59 in Laredo. This evening event will feature more than 100 beers from around the world, and festival-goers will be invited to vote for their favorites. The festivities will also include live music and cuisine from Laredo’s most popular beer joints.

4-5: Bruges Beer Festival, Bruges, Belgium

The Bruges Autonomous Beertasters, in cooperation with the municipality of Bruges, present the fifth Bruges Beer Festival, which will take place at De Halletoren at Markt de Bruge. More than 65 Belgian breweries and other providers will offer over 250 beers, and many breweries will have brewers in attendance. Food from local restaurants will be available.

4: Buffalo Winter Brewfest, Buffalo, NY

The 2012 Buffalo Winter Brewfest will be held at the Connecticut Street Armory. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 50 local, domestic, and imported beers. The festivities will also include appearances by brewery representatives, live music by LeeRon Zydeco & the Hot Tomales, and food and merchandise vendors.

4: Central New York Beer Festival, Syracuse, NY

The 16th annual Central New York Beer Festival will be held in the Horticulture Building in the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with beer from about 50 breweries, many of them from New York State, along with food for purchase.

4: Cincy Brew Ha-Ha Winter Edition, Cincinnati, OH

Cincy Brew Ha-Ha has added a winter edition, which will be held at the Cintas Center on the campus of Xavier University. This evening event will feature more than 80 beers, including five firkins, along with a lineup of comedians performing on two stages. VIP tickets, with early admission and a special selection of beer, are available. Part of the proceeds will benefit The Cure Starts Now Foundation.

4: Fond du Lac Brewfest, Fond du Lac, WI

The third annual Fond du Lac Brewfest will take place at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Center. This afternoon event will feature an all-Wisconsin lineup of 100 microbrewed beers. Food from local restaurants will be available, and the Scotty Meyer Band is scheduled to perform. Proceeds will benefit the Solutions Center.

4: Great Beer Expo at the Meadowlands, Secaucus, NJ

Starfish Junction Production presents the second annual International Great Beer Expo, which will take place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center at Harmon Meadow in Secaucus. There will be two tasting sessions, each with beer from more than 50 breweries from around the world; a beer garden; educational seminars; and food for sale. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Beer for Brains Foundation.

4: Queen City Brewers Festival, Charlotte, NC

The inaugural Queen City Brewers Festival will be held at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte. There will be two tasting sessions, each with more than 30 craft beers (participating breweries are asked to bring one "super" flavor or style of beer especially for the festival). The festivities will also include live music, food from Charlotte-based vendors, and works by local artists. The festival's non-profit partner is Partners for Parks.

8-10: Battersea Beer Festival, London, England

The South-West London Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 21st annual Battersea Beer Festival, which will take place in the Grand Hall of the Battersea Arts Centre in Lavender Hill. Last year's festival featured over 150 Real Ales from across Britain; beer from Belgium and Dutch breweries; ciders and perries; and food, including traditional Polish specialties.

9-19: Ashley's Belgian Beer Festival, Westland, MI

The Westland location of Ashley's, a beer bar, will host its second annual Belgian Beer Festival. More than 80 draft Belgian and Belgian-style beers, along with 60 bottled beers, will be available during this 11-day event, and Watou's Van Eecke will be this year's featured brewery. There will also be a Belgian food menu; several beer dinners, including a prix fixe Valentine's Day dinner; and a Belgian waffle Sunday brunch.

9-11: Fleetwood Beer Festival, Fleetwood, England

The Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 30th annual Fleetwood Beer Festival, which will take place at The Marine Hall. Organizers expect to have more than 100 Real Ales, along with a selection of ciders and foreign beers. There will be live entertainment Friday and Saturday evening.

10-11: Cancer Sucks, IPA Tap Takeover Weekend, Portland, OR

Plew's Brews, a beer bar located in Portland, will host a Cancer Sucks, IPA Tap Takeover Weekend. This two-day fund-raising event for cancer awareness will feature IPAs from eight local breweries, along with a tasting flight consisting of six single-hop IPAs brewed by Nopobrews members .The festivities will also include live music by two bands and prize raffles.

10-11: Cincy Winter Beerfest, Cincinnati, OH

The fifth annual Cincy Winter Beerfest will take place in larger quarters at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati. This year's event, which is part of Cincinnati Beer Week, will feature more than 300 beers from over 60 breweries. The festivities will also include food from local restaurants and cigar and bourbon sampling. VIP tickets, with early admission, and connoisseur tickets with early admission and a special selection of beers, are available.

10-11: Ilkley Beer Festival, Ilkley, England

Ilkley and District Round Table presents the fourth Ilkley Beer Festival, which will take place at Ilkley King's Hall. There will be an evening session on Friday and two sessions on Saturday, each with a wide selection of beers (there were 120 at last year's festival), along with a selection of ciders and perries. All proceeds from the festival will go to local charities.

10-11: KLCC Microbrew Festival, Eugene, OR

The 12th annual KLCC Microbrew Festival will be held at the Lane Events Center Exhibit Hall in Eugene. Recent editions of this festival have been evening events with more than 100 beers from over 50 breweries, including a collaboration beer; live music; snacks, and a music sale with thousands of records and CDs. All proceeds will go to KLCC 89.7 FM, Eugene's National Public Radio station.

10: San Francisco Beer Week Opening Celebration, San Francisco, CA

The 2012 San Francisco Beer Week Opening Celebration moves to a new venue, the Concourse Exhibition Center. This evening event will feature beer from more than 60 Northern California breweries. Food from Bay Area artisan producers will be available, and there will be live music.

10-19: San Francisco Beer Week, San Francisco Bay Area, CA

San Francisco Beer Week is a ten-day celebration of the city's craft beer and brewing. Recent Beer Weeks have included more than 150 events throughout the Bay Area, including the Bistro's Double IPA Festival, the Toronado Barleywine Festival, and Celebrator magazine's Best of the West Beer Fest. Other events included beer dinners and other food and beer events, meet-the-brewer evenings, homebrewing demonstrations, music and films, and a museum exhibit dedicated to Bay Area brewing.

11: Brewfest, Oconomowoc, WI

The Oconomowoc Rotary Club presents its sixth annual Brew and Food Festival, which will take place at the Olympia Resort and Conference Center. This evening event will feature a selection of craft-brewed beers; wines to sample; and food, including hors o'oeuvres, Italian and Mexican dishes, and a Sweet Treats Station with a chocolate fountain.

11: BrewHaHa: A Semi-Formal Tasting Event, Flagstaff, AZ

Greenhouse Productions Presents the 2012 edition of BrewHaHa: A Semi-Formal Tasting Event, which will take place at the High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff. Last year's festival was an afternoon event with beer from more than 25 breweries, mostly from the West; live music and comedy; a "Best of the Fest" contest; and hors d'oeuvres. Part of the proceeds will go to Habitat for Humanity.

11: Queens Arms Inn Beer Festival, Corton Denham, England

The Queens Arms Inn, an 18th century British pub located in Corton Denham, will host a Beer Festival. It will feature 15 hand-picked Yorkshire ales from ten microbreweries.

11: Traverse City Winter Microbrew & Music Festival, Traverse City, MI

Porterhouse Productions, The Blue Tractor, and Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula present the third annual Traverse City Winter Microbrew & Music Festival, which will take place in The Village at Grand Traverse Commons. The festival, to be held under heated tents, will feature products from more than 50 breweries, wineries, cideries, and meaderies. The festivities will also include live bands; a live polka band and silent disco; food, including items from local vendors and beer and cuisine pairings; fire dancers; and bonfires. There will be a number of after-parties in downtown Traverse City. This year's festival charity is Bay Area Recycling for Charities.

11: Winter Beer Carnival, Atlanta, GA

Premier Events presents the third annual Winter Beer Carnival, which will take place at a new location, Atlantic Station in Atlanta. This carnival-themed afternoon event will feature an expanded selection of more than 100 beers, along with unlimited midway games, rides, DJs and other entertainment, and food from local restaurants. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.

12: Winter BrewFest, Missoula, MT

Downtown Missoula presents the 2012 Winter BrewFest, which will take place at the Old Safeway Building on Broadway. This afternoon/evening event will feature more than 30 beers on tap, a wine bar, food, and live music.

15-18: Derby Winter Beer Festival, Derby, England

The Derby Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 11th annual CAMRA Winter Beer Festival, which will take place at Derby College’s Roundhouse campus, located behind Derby’s railway station. The festival, which has been expanded to four days, will feature more than 300 Real Ales, including ales that are new and rare to Derby, along with Real Cider, continental bottled beers, and wine. The festivities will also include an extensive range of entertainment in The Carriage Room.

16: The Big Beer Festival, Tacoma, WA

Tacoma Craft Beef Festival presents The Big Beer Festival, which will take place at the Petrich Marine Dock in downtown Tacoma. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more that 60 "big" beers from 20 invited breweries. Food will be available, and there will be live entertainment. All profits will go to the YWCA of Pierce County. 

16-18: Liverpool Beer Festival, Liverpool, England

The Liverpool & District Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 32nd annual Liverpool Beer Festival, which will take place at the Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt in Liverpool. Around 220 Real Ales will be available, along with a selection of ciders, perries, fruit wines, and soft drinks. Food will be available, and there will be entertainment at all sessions.

16-18: Luton Beer and Cider Festival, Luton, England

The South Bedfordshire Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 29th Luton Beer and Cider Festival, which will take place at the Hightown Sports & Arts Centre. Organizers expect to have at least 100 Real Ales,, along with 16 ciders and perries, foreign bottled beers, and country wines. Food will be available, there will be live music at some sessions, and attendees are invited to vote for the Beer of the Festival.

16-18: Warwick University Real Ale Festival, Coventry, England

The Warwick University Real Ale Society presents the 33rd annual Annual Warwick University Real Ale Festival, which will take place at The Copper Rooms on the University of Warwick Campus in Coventry. Organizers expect to have more than 100 Real Ales, along with "tens of ciders." The entertainment lineup will be headlined by Dr Busker, Britain’s last Victorian pub pianist.

17-18: Boston Spa Beer Festival, Boston Spa, England

The Boston Spa Village Hall Management Committee, along with the Friends of St. Mary’s School and the Jazz in the Spa, present the fourth annual Boston Spa Beer Festival, which will be held at the Village Hall. The theme for this year's event is "The Best of British v. the Best of Yorkshire"; with the top CAMRA award-winning beers, and more than 30 of the best Yorkshire beers, along with live entertainment both days. Proceeds will go to projects at the Village Hall and St. Mary's School.

17-18: Confluence Wine, Beer, Seafood & Music Festival, Reedsport, OR

The Reedsport/Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce presents the 2012 Confluence Wine, Beer, Seafood & Music Festival, which this year moves to a new location, the Community Center in Reedsport. This two-day event will feature beverages from the area's breweries and wineries, craft and food vendors, live bands and solo performers, ice sculpting, and chef demonstrations.

17-18: Elysian Winter Beer Festival, Ely, England

The Ely & District Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the third annual Elysian Winter Beer Festival, which will take place at The Maltings in Ely. Around 60 Real Ales will be available, along with a selection of ciders and foreign bottled beers. Food will be available at all sessions.

17-18: Gosport Winterfest XX, Gosport, England

The Plymouth and South East Hants branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents Gosport Winterfest XX, which will take place at Thorngate Halls in Gosport. Recent editions of this festival have featured more than 80 Real Ales, along with Real Ciders and bottled beers; a Beer of the Festival competition; and live entertainment at all sessions.

17-19: Hucknall Beer Festival, Hucknall, England

The 2012 Hucknall Beer and Cider Festival will be held at the John Godber Centre. This festival, which is produced with the assistance of the Nottingham Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale, will feature more than 30 cask beers, along with ciders and perries mainly from smaller producers. There will be a farmers' market Saturday afternoon and live music Saturday evening.

17-19: Littleworth Original Beer and Sausage Festival, Wheatley, England

The Cricketer's Arms, the Oxford CAMRA Town & Village Pub of the Year, will host the 2012 Littleworth Original Beer and Sausage Festival. Sixteen local Real Ales, all from new breweries in Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties, will be available, along with sausages from four suppliers (plus vegetarian and gluten-free options).

17-19: Max's Belgian Beer Festival, Baltimore, MD

Max's Taphouse, a beer bar located in Baltimore, will host the 2012 Max's Belgian Beer Festival. From 11 am until closing time, more than 100 Belgian and Belgian-style beers will be available on draft, along with over 175 Belgian and Beligan-style beers in bottles. A full Belgian-inspired food menu will be available.

17-18: Mt. Angel Wurstfest, Mt. Angel, OR

The Mt. Angel Chamber of Commerce presents the fourth annual Mt. Angel Wurstfest, which will take place at the Festhalle, the New Mt. Angel Community Building. The festivities will include German and domestic beer; food, including German sausages and artisan breads and cheeses; non-stop music and dancing; and arts and crafts vendors.

18-19: Alton Winter Beer Festival, Alton, England

The 2012 Alton Winter Beer Festival will be held at Alton College. This festival, which has been expanded to two days, will feature around 65 Real Ales from two dozen breweries. A variety of food will be available for purchase.

18-25: Arizona Beer Week, various locations, AZ

The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild presents the second annual Arizona Beer Week, which will take place at various locations in cities throughout the state. Last year's Beer Week had more than 250 events including special tastings, beer dinners, a "Kegs and Eggs" breakfast, educational seminars, a Light Rail Pub Crawl, and the Arizona Strong Beer Fest (listed separately on the calendar). This year, organizers are emphasizing craft beer education and unveiling never-before-seen beers.

18: Arizona Brewers Guild Strong Beer Festival, Phoenix, AZ

The Arizona Brewers Guild presents the 12th annual Strong Beer Festival, which will take place at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. This afternoon event, which kicks off Arizona Beer Week, will feature beer from more than 50 breweries. Strong beers will be showcased, but other styles will be available as well. Food will be served, and there will be live music. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.

18: Brewz Crewz Craft Beer Festival, Lakeland, FL

The third annual Brewz Crewz Craft Beer Festival will be held in Munn Park in downtown Lakeland. This evening event will feature a selection of craft beers, along with live music and food. VIP tickets, with early admission and an opportunity to meet the brewers, are available.

18: Chicago Polar Beer Festival, Chicago, IL

Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery's Chicago location will host the second annual Polar Beer Festival. This afternoon event, which will take place on the rooftop patio, will feature strong beers, many of them from local breweries.

18: Firkin Rendezvous, Colorado Springs, CO

The Bristol Brewing Company, located in Colorado Springs, will host the eighth annual Firkin Rendezvous. This afternoon event will feature one-of-a-kind cask ales from around two dozen Colorado microbreweries, with brewers on hand. Complimentary food will be provided. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. The festival is a benefit for the Colorado Brewers Guild.

18: Food & Froth Fest, Milwaukee, WI

The Friends of the Milwaukee Public Museum host the 14th annual Food & Froth Fest. This evening event will feature more than 200 beers, including seasonal beers, from Midwestern and international breweries; a prize raffle; entertainment; and food from local Milwaukee providers. VIP tickets, with early admission and additional beers and appetizers, are available. Proceeds will benefit the museum's exhibits and educational programs.

18: FriendFest Benefit Beer and Wine Festival, Kutztown, PA

Friend, Inc., Community Services hosts the fourth annual FriendFest Benefit Beer and Wine Festival, which will take place in Beltzner Hall at the Kutztown Fairgrounds. There will be three tasting sessions, each with locally produced beer and wine, live music by The Wallace Brothers and Frog Holler, and food. All proceeds will benefit needy families in Northeastern Berks County.

18: Great Twin Ports Taste Together & Wine Tasting, Carlton, MN

TwinPortsNightlife.com presents the 2012 Great Twin Ports Taste Together Brewfest & Wine Tasting, which will take place at the Black Bear Casino in Carlton. This late-afternoon event will feature local, regional, and national beer and wine; and a post-festival concert featuring Tramped by Turtles. A free shuttle bus run between downtown Duluth and the festival site. Part of the proceeds will benefit The Miracle League.

18: Roc City Brewfest, Rochester, NY

The second annual Roc City Brewfest will be held at the Main Street Armory in Rochester. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more a variety of craft beers (at last year's festival, there were 100 craft beers from New York State and the rest of the country, with brewery representatives on hand). The festivities will also include live music, merchandise vendors, and food.

18-20: Toronado Barleywine Festival, San Francisco, CA

Toronado, a beer bar located in San Francisco, will host its 19th annual Barleywine Festival. The event, which is part of San Francisco Beer Week, features a selection of barleywine-style ales. Admission is free.

18: Zwickelmania, various locations, OR

The Oregon Brewers Guild presents the fourth annual Zwickelmania, a state-wide brewery open house. Dozens of breweries will invite beer lovers for go on tours, meet the brewers, and taste their favorite beers. There will be free shuttle buses in Portland and Eugene to take visitors to multiple breweries in town.

19: Celebrator Anniversary Bash, Berkeley, CA

Celebrator Beer News presents its 23rd Anniversary Bash, which will take place at Trumer Brauerei in Berkeley. This evening event will feature beer from Trumer and more than 30 other breweries. Celebrator writers, beer industry luminaries, and craft beer pioneers will be in attendance. Food will be provided by Emergency BBQ.

19: Mid*Winter Brew Fest, Milwaukee, WI

The Milwaukee Ale House will host the 15th Annual Mid*Winter Brewfest, which will take place at the Ale House's downtown Milwaukee location. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 30 breweries from across the Midwest, along with Palermo's Pizza and Usinger's Sausage. TheUniversity of Wisconsin Alumni Band and The Form will entertain festival-goers. All proceeds will go to the MACC (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) Fund.

20-25: Grand Rapids Beer Week, Grand Rapids, MI

Liquid Table Beverage Solutions presents the inaugural Grand Rapids Beer Week, which will take place at various locations in and around Grand Rapids. This celebration will lead up to the Michigan Brewers Guild's Winter Beer Festival (listed separately on the calendar). Other Beer Week events will include beer dinners, rare beer tastings, and tap takeovers.

23-25: "Ale & Arty," the Stockton Beer Festival, Stockton on Tees, England

The Cleveland Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2012 "Ale & Arty," the Stockton Beer Festival, which will take place at ARC in Stockton on Tees. Organizers expect to have more than 80 Real Ales, ciders, and perries. Recent festivals have also featured live entertainment, food at all sessions, and a tombola.

23: Art of Beer, Sacramento, CA

The Northern California Brewers Guild, the California Craft Brewers Association, Bokeh Box Media, and Eben Weisberg present The Art of Beer, which will take place in the Sacramento Grand Ballroom. This Thursday evening event, which kicks off Sacramento Beer Week, will feature beer from more than 20 breweries from throughout California, an art exhibition, and food from Sacramento restaurants. Part of the proceeds will benefit the UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute. VIP tickets, with a selection of rare beers and commemorative artwork to take home, are available.

23-25: Bradford Beer Festival, Saltaire, England

The Bradford Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2012 Bradford Beer Festival, which will take place at Victoria Hall in Saltaire. The festival will feature more than 100 Real Ales, along with ciders and foreign beers, served at six bars. Hot and cold food will be sold at all sessions, there will be entertainment Friday evening and all day Saturday, and a children's room will be available during lunchtime sessions.

23-25: Winter Warmer Montreal, Montreal, PQ, Canada

Broue Pub Brouhaha, Bières et Plaisirs and Les Coureurs des Boires present the second edition of Winter Warmer Montreal. Organizers expect to have beer form more than 20 Quebec microbreweries, including a selection of grands crus and vintage ales. There will also be a gastronomical menu to pair with the beers, and live music by Dan Livingstone & the Griffintown Jug Addicts and Saloon Caloon.

24-25: Chappel Beer Festival, Chappel, England

The Essex Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 26th annual Chappel Beer Festival, which will take place at The Goods Shed in the East Anglian Railway Museum. This event is a scaled-down version of the Summer Beer Festival, with about 60 beers to choose from. Late night trains will run on the Marks Tey to Sudbury line after the event. The festival is a fund-raiser for the museum.

24-25: Chesapeake Oyster & Beer Festival, National Harbor, MD

Trigger Agency, LLC, presents the 2012 Chesapeake Oyster & Beer Festival, which will take place at a new and larger venue, the Gaylord National Resort at National Harbor. This two-day, three-session event will feature all-you-care-to-taste oysters, Frogmore stew, and other seafood dishes; more than 20 beers and wines; live music, and exhibits.

24-25: Ramsbottom Beer Festival, Ramsbottom, England

Irwell Works Brewery presents the inaugural Ramsbottom Beer Festival, which will take place at the Ramsbottom Civic Hall. This two-day event will feature more than 50 Real Ales from Lancashire microbreweries, all on hand pump, along with English and continental bottled beers. Food will be available, and there will be live music on Saturday. The festival is a fund-raiser for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

24-March 4: Sacramento Beer Week, Sacramento, CA

The Sacramento beer community presents the third annual Sacramento Beer Week, which will take place at various locations in the Sacramento Valley. There will be more than 400 events, headlined by The Art of Beer and the Capital Beerfest (both listed separately on the calendar). Other events include beer and cider dinners, special tastings, trivia contests, a "hophead scavenger hunt," and specially-priced pints.

25: Beats, Brews and BBQ, Philadelphia, PA

The World Cafe Live, located in Philadelphia, will host the eighth annual Beats, Brews and BBQ. The afternoon event will feature beer from around 30 local and regional breweries, barbecue and other food to pair with the beer, and live music by Bob Lowery. VIP tickets, with early admission, an expanded selection of beer, an opportunity to meet the brewers, are available.

25: Clarens Craft Beer Festival, Clarens, South Africa

The 2012 Clarens Craft Beer Festival will be held at Clarens Village Square, a venue surrounded by the Maluti Mountains. This all-day event will feature more than 50 craft beers and ciders from across the country. The festivities will also include live entertainment, German-style food, and a children's play area.

25: Cleveland Winter Warmer Festival, Cleveland, OH

Windows on the River will host the 2012 Cleveland Winter Warmer Festival. This afternoon event will feature beer from 20 Ohio breweries, along with complimentary appetizers and live entertainment by blues artist Austin Walkin' Cane.

25: Charleston Brewvival, Charleston, SC

Coast Brewing Company and The Charleston Beer Exchange present the 2012 Charleston Brewvival, which will take place on the fields opposite Coast Brewing. This afternoon even twill feature beer from more than 35 breweries and importers, including rare and exotic beers, and brewmasters will be on hand. Food will be available, and there will be live music.

25: Florida Craft Brew & Wingfest, Vero Beach, FL

The Vero Beach Sunrise Rotary Club presents the Florida Craft Brew & Wingfest, which will take place at Royal Palm Point on mainland Vero Beach. This afternoon event will feature 80 microbrewed beers, along with wine and non-alcoholic beverages; chicken wings prepared by restaurants competing in the "Best Vero Beach Wings" contest; other food items from Royal Palm Point establishments; and live music by Kayavibe and Old Barber Bridge.

25: Hillsdale Brewfest, Portland OR

McMenamin's Hillsdale Brewery and Public House will host the 19th annual Hillsdale Brewfest. The festival features the "Battle for the Belt," with 20 ales from McMenamins' breweries competing for the championship belt and a berth in the Oregon Brewers Festival in July. The winner will be chosen by a vote of festival-goers. Food will be available, and admission is free.

25: Hops & Props, Seattle, WA

The tenth annual Hops & Props will be held at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. This evening event will feature beer from more than 40 breweries, gourmet food from Catering by McCormick and Schmick’s, live music, and access to the museum’s galleries. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. This event is likely to sell out.

25: Lewiston Brewfest, Lewiston, ID

The 2012 Lewiston Brewfest will be held at the Nez Perce County Fair Building. Organizers expect to have 30 beers, most of them from area breweries, along with a selection of local wines. Food from the Wayback Cafe and Catering will be available. Free rides home or to hotels will be provided. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Gina Quesenbury Foundation, a breast cancer charity.

25: Michigan Brewers Guild Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids, MI

The Michigan Brewers Guild presents the fifth annual Winter Beer Festival, which will be held at Fifth Third Ballpark in Grand Rapids. This is an outdoor festival which will take place "snow, rain, or shine." More than 300 beers from over 50 Michigan breweries will be available, and the emphasis will be on "big" and barrel-aged beers. Hot food will be served, and there will be live music.

25: Stoudt Winter Brewer Fest, Adamstown, PA

The Stoudt Brewing Company will host the 2012 Winter Brewer Fest. This evening event will feature winter warmers from a number of breweries, many from the region; a dinner menu prepared by Chef Jim Carr; and live music by Octavia.

29-March 3: Rotherham Real Ale & Music Festival, Rotherham, England

The 20th annual Rotherham Real Ale & Music Festival, also known as the White Rose Festival, will take place at the MAGNA Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham. The theme for this year's festival is "Steel," celebrating Rotherham's steel industry. More than 200 Real Ales will be served on hand pulls at seven different locations; and there will also be Real Cider and wine. The festivities will also include food and a variety of live entertainers. Proceeds will go to Rotherham Hospice, Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, Weston Park Hospital and Magna Trust.
