May 30-3: Blandford Beer Festival, Blandford Forum, England
The East Dorset Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the sixth annual Blandford Beer Festival. It will be held at the Railway Hotel, an independent free house located in Blandford Forum. Fifty-five locally-brewed beers will be available, plus Real Cider and wine. Twelve musicians and bands will entertain, along with a magician, a fac e-painter, and dance troupes.
1-5: Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival, Colchester, England
The Colchester Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 25th annual Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival, which will take place at the Arts Centre, a historic deconsecrated church. Recent festivals have featured more than 90 beers and ciders from around the UK (this year's list TBA on the branch's website) along with a hog roast and live music. Proceeds from this year's festival will go to Chariot Community Buses and Headway Essex.
2-6: Mondial de la Biere, Montreal, QC, Canada
The 17th annual Mondial de la Biere will be held at the Windsor Station and Courtyard in downtown Montreal. More than 300 beers will be available, with all five continents represented. The lineup will include hard-to-find beers, along with beers specially brewed for the festival. Quebec cider and other food specialties from the province will also be available. The festival program also includes MBeer, a series of conferences and seminars that together leading figures from the beer and brewing community.
3-5: Great Grampian Beer Festival, Aberdeen, Scotland
The Aberdeen Grampian & North Isles Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the Great Grampian Beer Festival, which will take place at Richard Donald Stand at Pittodrie Stadium in Aberdeen. The festival features "the longest bar in North East Scotland," which organizers say will get even longer in 2010 with 100 beers, including "Saturday Specials," and twice as much cider and perry.
3-5: Rayleigh Lions Real Ale Fest, Hullbiridge, England
The Lions Club of Rayleigh presents their annual Real Ale Fest, which will take place at the Hullbridge Sports and Social Club. Twenty Real Ales, along with four ciders and perries, will be available. Food will be served, and admission is free.

The Southern Hampshire Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the Southampton Beer Festival, which will take place at Southampton Guildhall. Organizers expect to have 90 Real Ales, along with ciders, perries, foreign bottled beers, and wine. The festivities will also include live music at three of the five sessions, food on sale, and crisps and soft drinks at the bars.
3-5: Stockport Beer & Cider Festival, Stockport, England
The Stockport and South Manchester Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the Stockport Beer & Cider Festival, which will take place at Edgeley Park. More than 100 beers, ciders, and perries will be available, with full pints guaranteed. There will be an outside drinking area, and live entertainment in a separate room. Festival-goers are encouraged to wear "devils and angels fancy dress" on Saturday evening.
3-5: Wolverhampton Beer Festival, Wolverhampton, England
The Wolverhampton Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 35th annual Wolverhampton Beer Festival, which will take place at Wulfrun Hall. More than 100 Real Ales will be available, along with ciders, perries and foreign bottled beers. There will be entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings.
4-13: 20th Anniversary Jackson Beer Tastings, Philadelphia, PA
Philly Beer Fests presents the 20th Anniversary Jackson Beer Tastings, which will take place at the Penn Museum. This year's theme is "Beer as Art." There will be three one-hour tutored sessions, each of them followed by two hours of open tasting of more than 100 additional beers, along with beer-friendly food provided by Museum Catering Company.
4-13: Alabama Beer Week, various locations, AL
The inaugural Alabama Beer Week will take place at various locations across the state. The festivities will kick off with the fourth annual Magic City Brewfest in Birmingham on June 4-5. Other events (full list TBA on the Beer Week website) will include tastings, include beer dinners, and special beer releases.
4-5: Avon Valley Railway Real Ale Festival, Bitton, England
The Avon Valley Railway will host the annuual Real Ale Festival. The festival consists of three sessions at "The Railway," a covered area with views of the platform and tracks. About 20 Real Ales will be available, and this year's lineup will have an astrological theme. There will also be local ciders and perries, and food will be available. Preview Session tickets, with snifter samples, a free prize drawing, and admission to Friday evening's session, are available.
4-6: Beer & Cocktail Show, Toronto, ON, Canada
The Beer Store presents the fourth annual Beer & Cocktail Show, which will take place at Downsview Park in Toronto. This indoor event will feature a beer garden, with both old and new beers; cooking with beer demonstrations; a variety of cocktails to sample; food; and live entertainment.
4-5: Beer Hoptacular, Chicago, IL
The inaugural edition of Beer Hoptacular will be held at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. More than 200 small-batch beers from the Midwest and beyond will be available for sampling. The festivities will also include appearances by brewers and beer journalists, talks by beer experts, demonstrations by homebrewers, and voting for "Beer of the Year." Food and craft items will be available for purchase.
4-6: Glastonwick 2010, Coombes, England
Attila the Stockbroker and Alex Hall (in conjunction with the Dark Star Brewing Company, Adur Festival, and Church Farm) present Glastonwick 2010, which will take place at Church Farm in Coombes. Organizers expect to have 68 cask-conditioned ales, all from small independent breweries, along with about a dozen farmhouse ciders and perries. More than 20 bands are scheduled to perform over the three days of this festival. Food, including a hog roast, burgers, and chili and vegetarian dishes, will be available.
4-5: Keswick Beer Festival, Keswick, England
The Keswick Rugby Club and Keswick Lions Club present the Keswick Beer Festival, which will take place at the Rugby Club. Recent festivals have featured about 250 beers and ciders, along with food and live entertainment; and proceeds have gone to the Rugby Club and the Lions Club.
4-5: Magic City Brewfest, Birmingham, AL
The fourth annual Magic City Brewfest will take place at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in Birmingham. Thanks to the lifting of the state ABV limit, organizers expect to provide an expanded beer selection (TBA on the festival website), including a imperial stout specially brewed for the festival. Food from local restaurants and a variety of merchandise will be available, and musicians will perform on the live and acoustic stages. This festival is expected to sell out.
4-6: Norton Beer Festival, England
The Norton Public House, located in Cold Norton, will host the Norton Beer Festival. This three-day event will feature at least 20 Real Ales and Real Ciders, with both local and out-of-county breweries represented. There will be live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, and both live music and Morris dancers on Sunday afternoon. Pub food and barbecue will be available over the weekend. Admission to all sessions is free.
4-5: Occombe Beer Festival, Paginton, England
The fifth annual Occombe Beer Festival will be held at Occombe Farm in Paignton. This two-day event will feature approximately 60 Real Ales from Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, and Dorset (TBA on the festival website), along with local ciders and perries. There will also be a Pimm's Bar, live music from local bands, and a barbecue and hog roast. This festival is a benefit for the Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust.
4-13: Philly Beer Week, Philadelphia, PA
Philly Beer Week will take place at various locations in and around Philadelphia. According to organizers, more than 1,000 events--including beer dinners, releases, tastings, and meet-the-brewer nights--have been scheduled. There are four main events: Smoke 'Em If Yous Got 'Em, a smoked beer and barbecue festival; Forum of the Gods, a discussion featuring notables from the beer community, the 20th annual Jackson Tutored Tastings, led by Randy Mosher; and Zythos America.
4: The Opening Tap, Philadelphia, PA
This year's edition of Philly Beer Week will kick off with The Opening Tap, which will take place at the Independence Visitors Center in the shadow of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. This evening event, which begins with the ceremonial tapping of the first keg, will feature a wide range of beers, including a special collaboration ale; beer-friendly food; live music; and appearances by special guests.
4-5: St Ives Beer Festival, St Ives, England
The Cornwall Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the St Ives Beer Festival, which will take place at the Concert Hall. Around 70 Real Ales, along with Real Ciders and Real Perry, will be available, and hot and cold snacks will be served.
4-5: Snowmass Chile Pepper & Brew Fest, Snowmass Village, CO
Snowmass Village will again kick off summer with its seventh annual Snowmass Chili Pepper & Brew Fest. The International Chili Society will hold two chili competitions and tastings; and at least 50 microbreweries will take part in a summer ale competition, with tasting sessions on both Friday and Saturday. Live bands will perform on the resort's Fanny Hill all weekend. Lodging packages are available.
4: Zoo Brew, Portland, OR
ZooBrew 2010 will be held at the Oregon Zoo in Portland. This evening event will feature beer from more than 20 Northwest microbreweries, along with live entertainment on the main stage featuring the Crazy 8's. Proceeds will support Zoo To You, a youth outreach program.
5: Alton Beer Festival, Alton, England
The Triple fff Brewery presents the Alton Beer Festival, which will take place at the Alton Maltings Centre. The festival will consist of be two sessions, each with more than 25 beers, with food available at both sessions. Proceeds will benefit a number of local charities.
5: Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival, Richmond, VA
Trigger Agency presents Virginia's edition of the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival, which will take place in Exhibition Hall at the Richmond Raceway Complex. More than 60 beers and 40 bourbons will be available on an all-you-can-taste basis, along with barbecue and live entertainment on the main stage. There will also be games and contests, seminars in the tasting theater, and a cigar tent. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. This event sold out last year.
5: BeerCity Festival, Asheville, NC
The Asheville Brewers Alliance presents the inaugural BeerCity Festival, which will take place in downtown Asheville. This afternoon festival, described as organizers as "a beerfest run by the brewers," will feature beer from more than 30 breweries, all from North and South Carolina. The festivities will also include rock and roll music, educational programs, blindfold tastings, and a bull and beer session with local brewers.
5: Beerfest, Santa Rosa, CA
Beerfest will again be held at the Wells Fargo Center in Santa Rosa. This afternoon event features beer from more than 35 Northern California breweries, along with a matching number of gourmet food purveyors. There will also be music by local performers. The festival is a benefit for Face to Face, Sonoma County AIDS Alliance.
5: Beers on Broad Street, Kennett Square, PA
The inaugural Beers on Broad Street will take place in downtown Kennett Square. This afternoon event, which is being held in association with Philly Beer Week, will feature hand-crafted beer from local brewers, food from local restaurants, and live music by local bands.
5: Blues 'n Brews Festival, Wilmington, NC
The Blues 'n Brews Festival will be held at Festival Park in downtown Fayetteville. This is a late afternoon and evening event featuring beer from more than 15 Southeastern breweries, along with down-home blues music. VIP tickets, with dinner, a private early pour, and a chat with the brewers, are available.
5: City Pages Beer Festival, Minneapolis, MN
City Pages magazine presents the 18th annual City Pages Beer Festival, which will take place at 10th and Hennepin, near the downtown theater district. Hundreds of beers will be available at this evening event. VIP tickets, with free appetizers and unlimited Shock Top samples, are available. Part of the proceeds will go to the St. Paul Jaycees.
5: Davis Beerfest, Davis, CA
The Davis Beerfest will be held at the The Sudwerk Brewery in Davis. This afternoon event will feature unlimited four-ounce samples of more than 100 beers from over 30 breweries, tours of the brewery, live music, food from the Nugget Market, and a prize raffle. All proceeds will go to the Citizens Who Care Foundation.
5-6: Great Japan Beer Festival, Tokyo, Japan
The Japan Craft Beer Association presents the Great Japan Beer Festival 2010, which will take place at Ebisu Gerden Hall. More than 120 microbrewed beers will be available for sampling.
5: Milwaukee Beer Barons World of Beer Festival, Menomonee Falls, WI
The Milwaukee Beer Barons present the World of Beer Festival, which will take place at Schwabenhof Pavillion in Menomonee Falls. Organizers expect to have more than 150 beers, including unusual VIP beers, with over 50 breweries represented, along with a homebrewing demonstration and Q&A, beer memorabilia on display, a guest speaker, and live music. Proceeds will benefit the proposed Museum of Beer and Brewing.
5: Monterey Beer Fest, Monterey, CA
The Night That Never Ends presents the Monterey Beer Festival, which will take place at the Monterey Fairgrounds. Organizers promise "the greatest assortment of Beer ever assembled on the Central Coast," with hundreds of beers from more than 70 breweries from around the around the world. The 2010 festival will introduce the Short Pour Film Fest, with films on the subject of beer (free admission to festival-goers) from film-makers around the world.
5: Mountain Brewers’ Beer Fest, Idaho Falls, ID
The North American Brewers Association presents the 16th annual Mountain Brewers’ Beer Fest, which will take place at Sandy Downs Racetrack in Idaho Falls. This afternoon event, billed as "one of the nation's premier judging festivals," will feature hundreds of beers from about 80 breweries from across the United States and Europe. There will be a food court, live music, and a silent auction tent; and a shuttle will run between the festival venue and several area hotels. The festival is a fund-raiser for local charities.
5: Oakland A's Beer Festival, Oakland, CA
The Oakland A's 14th Annual Beer Festival will be held in the Eastside Club at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. The festival will take place before the Athletics' evening game against the Minnesota Twins. Beer from more than 30 microbreweries will be available, along with live music from Bay Area cover band Tainted Love, and other festivities. Admission to the beer festival is free to those with a game ticket.
5: Pennsylvania Microbrewers Fest, Pittsburgh, PA
The Pennsylvania Brewing Company, located in Pittsburgh, will host the annual Pennsylvania Microbrewers Fest. There will be two sessions, each with beer from 28 craft breweries and brewers in attendance. The Flow Band will perform at the afternoon session, and the Blues Orphans will perform in the evening. The price of admission includes a meal.
5: Philadelphia Global Beer Expo, Philadelphia, PA
Philly Beer Fests presents Philadelphia Global Beer Expo, which will take place at the Simeone Automotive Museum. There will be afternoon and evening sessions, each with more than 125 world-class beers from 90 breweries, with 16 countries represented. Food will be served, and festival-goers will be able to view the museum's collection of historic cars.
5: Philly International Great Beer Expo, Philadelphia, PA
Starfish Junction Productions presents the second annual Philly International Great Beer Expo, which will take place at the Philadelphia Navy Yards. This event, which was voted one of the "Top 10 Beer Festivals in America," will have two sessions, each with more than 100 beers from over 50 breweries from around the world. Food will be available for purchase.
5: RadFest, Bloomington, IN
Upland Brewing Company will again host RadFest, an annual celebration of craft beer and music. This event will feature beer from across Indiana, as well as from several out-of-state guest breweries. Five bands are scheduled to perform, and the Bleeding Heartland Roller Girls will make an appearance. Organizers will give a free meal ticket to anyone dressed RAD, and award a grand prize to the person dressed most RAD of all. All proceeds will be donated to Middle Way House.
5: SAVOR: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience, Washington, DC
The Brewers Association presents SAVOR: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience, which will take place at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. This year's event will feature 140 craft beers from 70 breweries, with brewery owners and brewmasters on hand; a reception-style presentation of 30 sweet and savory foods; and tasting salons led by the top names in beer and food. This event is sold out.
5: Soroptimist International of Bidwell Rancho Microbrew Festival, Chico, CA
Soroptimist International of Bidwell Rancho presents its 15th annual Microbrew Festival, which will take place at Manzanita Place in Chico. This is an afternoon event features beer from more than 50 breweries, food, live music by Jeff Pershing Bank and Three Fingers Whiskey, and a raffle. Tickets will go on sale May 15. This festival has sold out each of the past five years.
5: Springs Preserve Brews and Blues Festival, Las Vegas, NV
The Springs Preserve, a cultural institution located in Las Vegas, will host its inaugural Brews and Blues Festival. This evening event, which will take place at the Crossroads Commons Amphitheater, will feature beer from more than a dozen breweries from the region. In addition, food will be available, and five blues bands will perform on stage.
5-6: Twyford Beer Festival, Twyford, England
The inaugural Twyford Beer Festival, which will be held at the 1st Twyford Scout Troop Building. More than 30 Real Ales will be available, and there will be a cigar and wine bar. There will be a hog roast on Saturday, and on Sunday the scouts will host their donkey derby. The festival is a fund-raiser for the Orchid Male Cancer Charity.
5: Wild Wine, Beer and Food Safari, Bridgeport, CT
The Connecticut Beardsley Zoo, located in Bridgeport, will host the annual Wild Wine, Beer and Food Safari. This evening event, which is a fund-raiser for the zoo, will feature a selection of beer and wine along with entertainment, food from from local restaurants, and a silent auction. VIP tickets, which include a behind-the-scenes tour of the zoo, are available.
5: Willow River Blues & Brews Fest, New Richmond, WI
The Willow River Blues & Brews Fest will be held at Mary Park in New Richmond. This outdoor Saturday afternoon event will feature about 50 beers from 15 area breweries, and food will be available. The beer festival is part of a two-day blues music festival, for which there is no cover charge.

The inaugural Twyford Beer Festival will be held at Scout Headquarters in Twyford. More than 35 Real Ales and Real Ciders will be available, including a special Summer Snowflake ale. 5: WYES International Beer Tasting, New Orleans, LA
For more than 25 years, New Orleans has been the site of the WYES International Beer Tasting. The festival, which is a benefit for WYES-TV, the city's public television station, takes place in June at the Riverfront Arena. Recent festivals have featured more than 150 foreign, domestic, and home-brewed beers.
5: Zoo Brew, Santa Barbara, CA
The Santa Barbara Zoo will host its first-ever Zoo Brew. This afternoon event will feature tastings from "a whole herd of breweries" from the Central Coast region and beyond. KRUZ's DJ Matt Stone will provide the music during a live broadcast from the festival, and food and merchandise will be available. Festival-goers will receive free admission to the zoo, and the entertainment will include special animal encounters. The festival is a fund-raiser for the animals in the zoo.

The Bear Creak Mountain Resort will host the 5th annual Bear Creek Brew Fest,

Yards Brewing Company, located in Philadelphia, will host the second annual Smoke 'Em If Yous Got 'Em. This afternoon event will bring together smoked beers from more than 30 breweries, and world-class barbecue from Percy St. and Tommy Gunn's. There will also be an amateur barbecue competition.
8-12: Thurrock Beer Festival, Grays, England
The South East Essex Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the Thurrock Beer Festival, which will take place at Thurrock Civic Hall on Blackshots Lane in Grays. More than 120 Real Ales will be available, along with Real Ciders, Real Perries, and a selection of English country wines and meads. There will be hot and cold food and a CAMRA stand at all sessions, and an outdoor drinking and smoking area will be provided.
10-12: Great Welsh Beer & Cider Festival, Cardiff, Wales
The Campaign for Real Ale presents the Great Welsh Beer & Cider Festival, which will take place at Cardiff International Arena. "The biggest pub in Wales" will feature more than 150 Real Ales, including many from Wales, along with over 40 ciders and a selection of foreign beers. There will also be food and live local entertainment.
10-12: Harpenden Beer Festival, Harpenden, England
The South Herts Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the second annual Harpenden Beer Festival, which will take place at the Harpenden Public Halls. About 80 Real Ales, including champion-winning beers, will be available, along with bottle-conditioned and international beers, ciders, and perries. Festivities will also include live music, a festival quiz, breweriana auctions, and Saturday's England-USA World Cup match on the big screen.
11-13: Bierboerse, Cologne, Germany
The Cologne edition of Bierboerse, a series of beer festivals held across Germany, will take place in the city center at Tanzbrunnen. More than 1,000 beers from over 75 breweries, including hard-to-find German microbrews, will be served in a Biergarten atmosphere. Festivities also include food and live entertainment, breweriana, and artisans' stands. The Bierboerse website is in German only.
11-20: Boston Beer Week, Boston, MA
BeerAdvocate.com presents Boston Beer Week, which will take place at various locations in Boston and within the 128 Belt. Beer Week is anchored by the American Craft Beer Fest (listed separately on the calendar). Other events include beer dinners, food and beer pairings, releases and special tastings, brewery tours, pub crawls, and appearances by brewers.
11-12: St. Louis Brewers Heritage Festival, St. Louis, MO
Here's to Beer! presents the St. Louis Brewers Heritage Festival, which will take place at Forest Park. There will be two sessions both days of the festival, each with more than 60 beer styles served under Bavarian-style beer tents. There will also be live music, food from local restaurants, and beer education programs. Free parking is available at the park. Proceeds from the festival will go to Lift for Life.

The Auburn 20-30 Club presents the second annual Auburn Brewfest, which will take place at the Farrell Wrenn Park in the Gold Gountry Fair Grounds in Auburn. This afternoon event will feature unlimited beer sampling (more than 15 breweries were represented at last year's festival), along with food and live music. All proceeds will benefit the children of the Auburn community.
12: Beer Connoisseur Festival, Atlanta, GA
Beer Connoisseur magazine, together with Taco Mac, 5 Seasons Brewing Company, and restaurants of The Prado enclave in north Atlanta, present the inaugural Beer Connoisseur Festival, which will take place at The Prado. More than 150 beers, from over 40 domestic and international breweries, will be available. The festivities will also include live music, food, and World Cup matches on television inside Taco Mac and 5 Seasons.
12: Bloomin' Beerfest, Phoenix, AZ
The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild presents the fourth annual Bloomin' Brewfest, which will take place at the Irish Cultural Center in Phoenix. This evening celebration of Bloomsday will feature a wide array of beers brewed by members of the Guild, along with fish and chips, live Irish music, and readings from James Joyce's Ulysses.
12: Burnside Craft Brewers Festival, East Hartford, CT
The Olde Burnside Brewing Company will host the Burnside Craft Brewers Festival, which will take place at Martin Park in East Hartford. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 30 breweries; music by the String Fingers Band; and food, vendors, and seminars. Camping "in the rough" is available. After the festival, three bands will perform on the music stage.
12-13: "Celebrating Sussex" Real Ales, Brighton, England
The Greys, a public house located in Brighton, will host "Celebrating Sussex" Real Ales. This event, the first of two summer mini-beer fests, will feature beer from five of the 20 breweries in Sussex. Food will be available, and admission is free.

Shows, Inc., presents Food & Wine Fest at National Harbor, which will take place at National Harbor, a waterfront development near Washington, D.C. There will be a Belgian beer cafe and appearances by beer experts, as well as boutique wines, cooking demonstrations, and artisanal products for sale.
12: Fremont Toyota Lander Brew Festival, Lander, WY
The Fremont Toyota Lander Brew Festival will be held in Lander City Park. This afternoon event is billed as "The Best Little Brew Fest in the West." Last year's festival featured more than 50 beers from 16 breweries (this year's list TBA on the festival website), along with food, live music (bands TBA), and judged and "People's Choice" beer competitions.
12: MCU Park Craft Beer Festival, Brooklyn, NY
Coney Island's MCU Park, the home of the Brooklyn Cyclones baseball team, will host its inaugural Craft Beer Festival. The festival, which will take place on the ballpark's concourse, will feature an assortment of American craft beer, music by live bands. Festival-goers will also receive a ticket to the Cyclones' June 21 home game against the Aberdeen IronBirds.
12: Great Northern Beer Festival, Eagle River, WI
The Great Northern Beer Festival will be held at Festival Grounds at Hi-Pines Campground in Eagle River. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 25 Wisconsin and Upper Midwest breweries along with homebrew from the Northwoods LUSH Inc. Club. Food and snacks will be available. The inaugural Milwaukee Firkin Craft Beer Festival will be held downtown at Cathedral Square Park. This afternoon event, described as "a celebration of Milwaukee beer, past, present and future," will feature more than 50 craft-brewed beers from the city, with voting by festival-goers for the best beer of the festival. 12: Rockin' Brews Festival, Silverton, CO
The 2010 Rockin' Brews Festival will be held in the baseball stadium in the small mountain town of Silverton. The afternoon event will feature beer from craft breweries from Colorado's western slope, and possibly spirits from distilleries. Bands from throughout the region will perform during the festival.
12: Rotary Tip N Taste, Langley, BC, Canada
The Langley Rotary Clubs present Tip N Taste, a beer and cooler sampling event, which will take place at the Cascades Coast Hotel (Casino) in Langley. This evening event will feature about 80 beers and summer drinks, and festival-goers will be able to vote for their favorites. Food from local restaurants will be available, and there will be live music. Proceeds from this event will fund Rotary Club projects in the community.
12: Show Me! Beer Festival, Jefferson City, MO
The Show Me! Beer Festival will be held at Memorial Park Pavilion in Jefferson City. This afternoon event will kick off with an awards ceremony and "Best of Show," followed by a public tasting of Missouri-brewed beer. Planet Jazz will perform, and Missouri Hick BBQ will serve food. The festival is a benefit for Earth's Classroom, a non-profit environmental learning center.
12: South Placer Rotary Brewfest, Rocklin, CA
The Rotary Club of South Placer presents Brewfest, which will take place at Sunset Whitney Country Club in Rocklin. This is an afternoon event, with beer from area microbreweries served on the country club's patio and poolside area. Food will be available, and there will be live music.
12: Stoudt's Microfest, Adamstown, PA
The Stoudt's Brewing Company will host the first of three Microfests in the brewery's courtyards and Brewery Hall. Both sessions will feature beer from around the country, Ed’s “Best of the Wurst” German-style buffet, and live entertainment (Hoppin' John Orcrestra in the afternoon, The Skels in the evening). A complimentary shuttle service will run between local motels and the brewery.
12: Truckee Brew Fest, Truckee, CA
The Truckee Optimist Club presents the fifth annual Truckee Brew Fest, which will take place at Truckee Regional Park. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 20 breweries from northern California and Nevada. This year's feature band is Reno-based "Sol'Jibe." Bratwurst and sausage will be available, and there will be a silent auction. All proceeds will fund programs, grants, and scholarships for Truckee's children.
14: National Sahti Brewing Competition, Lahti, Finland
Finland's most important sahti-brewing competition will be held at the harbor in the city of Lahti. (Sahti is a traditional Finnish beer.) This annual competition, organized by the national and regional sahti associations and by the city of Lahti, has taken place since 1992. At this day-long event, Finland's master of sahti brewing will be chosen from among winners of municipal competition. The festival website is in Finnish only.
16-20: Beerfest Asia, Singapore
Beerfest Pte Ltd and Sphere Exhibits Pte Ltd present the second annual Beerfest Asia, which will take place at the Marina Promenade in Singapore. More than 250 beers from around the world will be available. The festivities will also include giant screen broadcasts of 2010 World Cup matches and an outdoor bazaar with food and games. The inaugural Asia Beer Awards will be held in conjunction with the festival.
16-20: Great Middle Europe Beer Festival, Ljubljana, Slovenia
Fibula Congress Agency presents the inaugural Great Middle Europe Beer Festival, which will take place at Ljubljana, in the center of Ljubljana. Organizers expect to serve beer from 30 or more Central European breweries. The festival will also feature a variety of live music and other entertainment. Admission is free, and the venue is close to the city's main bus and train stations and shopping district.
17-20: Beer and Music, New Buckenham, England
The George, a pub located on Chapel Street in New Buckenham, will host a festival called Beer and Music. In addition to a range of beers, the festivities will include the England vs. Algeria World Cup match on Friday, and a live band on Saturday.
17-19: Braintree Real Ale Festival, Braintree, England
The Braintree Lions Club and the Campaign for Real Ale present the sixth annual Braintree Real Ale Festival, which will take place at the Braintree Institute. Organizers expect to offer around 50 Real Ales, including a Festival Real Ale, plus ten ciders and perries. This year's festival charities are The Little Haven Children's Hospice and The Helen Rollason Cancer Trust.
17-19: Tynedale Beer Festival, Corbridge, England
The Tynedale Lions Club and the Tynedale Rugby Football Club present the Tynedale Beer Festival, which will take place at the football club's grounds, Tynedale Park, in Corbridge. More than 110 beers and ciders will be available; food will be served; and there will be live music at all sessions. Proceeds will go to local charities.
18-19: Beer Advocate American Craft Beer Fest, Boston, MA
In June, BeerAdvocate.com presents the American Craft Beer Fest, which takes place at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. This is one of the East Coast's largest celebrations of American craft beer, with over 250 beers from 75 breweries; three tasting sessions; and beer education seminars and other events.
18-19: Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival, National Harbor, MD
Trigger Agency presents the Washington, D.C., area's edition of the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival, which will take place on the waterfront at National Harbor. This is a tented event, with more than 60 beers and 40 bourbons available on an all-you-can-taste basis. Barbecue teams from North Carolina, Texas, and Kansas will be on hand, and there will also be barbecue and homebrewing contests, seminars, and live music all day. VIP tickets, for either a special Friday evening session with unlimited barbecue or for early admission on Saturday, are available. This event sold out last year.
18-20: Bierboerse, Leipzig, Germany
The Leipzig edition of Bierboerse, a series of beer festivals held across Germany, will take place at Völkerschlachtdenkmal. More than 1,000 beers from over 75 breweries, including hard-to-find German microbrews, will be served in a Biergarten atmosphere. Festivities also include food and live entertainment, breweriana, and artisans' stands. The Bierboerse website is in German only.
18-20: Kingskerswell Summer Moon Festival, Kingskerswell, England
The third annual Kingskerswell Summer Moon Festival will be held at the Parish Meadow in Kingskerswell. More than 80 beers from the South West will be available, along with ciders and wines. The England vs. Algeria World Cup match will be shown on big-screen TV on Friday evening, and there will be live music throughout the festival.
18-21: The Longest Day Beer Festival, Petersfield, England
The White Horse, a pub located in Petersfield, will host its eighth annual Longest Day Beer Festival. It will feature more than 100 beers (TBA on the pub's website) from across Great Britain; a full range of wines, spirits, soft drinks, and regular beers in the "A" Bar; live music all four days of the festival; and food, including sausages, a hog roast, and pub food.
18-19: Oregon Brews & BBQs, McMinnville, OR
Oregon Brews & BBQs, which debuted in 2009, returns to the McMinnville's historic Granary District. The festival, which benefits Habitat for Humanity, will feature local beer and wine (beer and wine lists TBA on the festival website). 18-19: Rushden & Diamonds Beer Festival, Irthlingborough, England
The Rushden & Diamonds Football Club will host a Beer Festival at the club's grounds in Irthlingborough. Organizers expect to have about 25 local and national Real Ales and Real Ciders. 18-19: South Downs Beer & Cider Festival, Lewes, England
The Brighton & South Downs Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 14th annual South Downs Beer & Cider Festival, which will take place at the Old Corn & Hop Exchange in Lewes Town Hall. Seventy Real Ales will be available, along with ciders, perries, bottled beers, and country wines. Hot and cold food and soft drinks will be served throughout the festival. All admission to this year's festival is by advance ticket only.
18-19: Stratford-upon-Avon Beer Festival, Stratford-upon-Avon, England
The Shakespeare Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the fourth annual Stratford-upon-Avon Beer Festival, which will take place at the Stratford-upon-Avon Race Course. This year's festival, whose theme is "East meets West," will feature more than 50 Real Ales from local breweries, along with ciders and perries. Food will be available at all sessions, and there will be live entertainment on Saturday. A shuttle will run all day Saturday between Stratford Railway Station and the festival site.
18-20: Washington Brewers Festival, Kenmore, WA
The Washington Beer Commission presents the Washington Brewers Festival, which will take place at St. Edward State Park in Kenmore. Organizers describe this three-day event as "The Mother of All Father's Day Festivals." Flowmotion will perform on Friday evening, and a selection of exclusive Friday beers will be available. Saturday and Sunday will feature nearly 200 beers on tap, plus ciders and wines. There will also be live music, a brewers keg toss contest, a kids' playground and root beer garden, and food and craft items for sale.
18-19: Wyoming Brewer's Festival, Cheyenne, WY
The 15th annual Wyoming Brewers Festival will be held at a new location, the Cheyenne Depot Plaza. Last year's festival attracted more than 20 breweries and vendors. The festival consists of two events: the Tasters Party on Friday evening, which also features live music and light hors d’oeuvres followed by a smorgasbord of food from local restaurants; and the Brewer’s Festival, a Saturday evening tasting session.
19-20: Beer in the Gibberd Garden, Old Harlow, England
The Herts & Essex Borders Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale, along with the Gibberd Garden Trust, present the third annual Beer in the Gibberd Garden. More than 25 beers from independent brewers, plus cider, will be available in an outdoor venue with a large tent in case of rain. Admission to the festival includes entry to the Garden.
19: Founders Fest, Grand Rapids, MI
Founders Brewing Company presents the third annual Founders Fest, which will take place in downtown Grand Rapids. This outdoor beer and music festival will feature Founders beer, including Founders Fest Wheat; live music; food vendors; and an expanded "Local Artists Row," showcasing area artists and designers.

The inaugural Clifford Champion Beer Festival will be held at Clifford Village Hall. Flying Dog Brewery will host the third annual Gonzofest, a celebration of Hunter S. Thompson. There will be two sessions, each with Flying Dog ales, live musical entertainment, food, and a Hunter S. Tröegs Brewing Company and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Central Pennsylvania present the seventh annual Harrisburg Brewers Fest. This is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event, which will take place downtown at Locust Street and Third Street. 19: Rhythm Bets 'n Brews" Microbrew Festival, New Kent, VA
Colonial Downs, a racetrack located in New Kent, will host its annual "Rhythm Bets 'n Brews" Microbrew Festival. Twenty-five beers will be available, and Soular Coaster will perform party music, at this afternoon event. In addition, the country's top three-year-old turf horses will compete in the $500,000 Colonial Turf Cup.

The Tin Mill Brewery, located in a historic old mill in downtown Hermann, will host its third annual Rhythm & Brews Festival at the Hofgarten across the street from the brewery. Heartland Brewery presents the fourth annual New York Brewfest, which will take place on New York City's Governors Island. The San Diego International Beer Festival will be held at the Chevrolet Del Mar Arena at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The festival, which has been expanded to four sessions over three days, coincides with the San Diego County Fair. The Thompson Brewery & Public House will host the 13th annual Barley Cup Brewfest. This all-day event features McMenamins breweries competing for the Barley Cup, with a random drawing determining the style each brewer must make. Members of the Capital City Homebrewers Club will judge the competition. Food will be available, and brewery staff will be on hand to answer questions and give tours.
26: Bell Tower Brewfest, Placerville, CA
Placerville's merchants present the Bell Tower Brewfest, which will take place downtown. This is a fund-raiser for the Placerville Downtown Association, and it is expected to sell out.

Beer Army presents the inaugural Brew Burn Beer Fest, which will take place at the Riverfront Convention Center in New Bern's historic district. The festival, which coincides with the city's 300th birthday celebration, will focus exclusively on regional microbreweries. There will be two sessions, with early admission for premium ticket holders. Proceeds will go to Hope for the Warriors, which helps the families of killed and wounded American service members.
26: Brew-Ha-Ha, Indianapolis, IN
Brew-Ha-Ha will take place in front of the Phoenix Theatre in the 700 block of North Park Avenue in Indianapolis. 26: Brews, Blues & BBQs, Stevenson, WA
The 17th annual edition of Brews, Blues & BBQs will take place on the waterfront at the Skamania County Fairgrounds in Stevenson. This year's festival will feature beer from 16 local and regional breweries (with more to come), along with eight wineries from the area. There will also be a barbecue cook-off, with voting for best barbecue; and music by three bands. Camping will be available. The festival venue is located in the scenic Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area.
26: Burning Can, Lyons, CO
The Oskar Blues Brewery, one of the first microbreweries to can its beer, will host the inaugural Burning Can: The Original Beer Ragbag of Colorado, which will take place at Sandstone Park in Lyons. The festival will feature canned beer from about 15 craft brewers. Nashville's Bonepony will perform, can art will be on display, and the food menu will include beer can chicken and other beer-infused dishes. All proceeds from this event will go to the Colorado Brewers Guild.
26: Garden State Craft Brewers Guild Beer Festival, Camden, NJ
The Garden State Craft Brewers Guild presents its 14th annual Beer Festival, which will take place on the fantail of the U.S.S. New Jersey, the most decorated battleship in U.S. history. This rain-or-shine afternoon event will feature beer from 13 New Jersey breweries, live entertainment, and food and specialty vendors. Admission to the festival includes a self-guided tour of the battleship.
26-27: Great European Beerfest, Pittsburgh, PA
The Great European Beerfest will be held at the Sharp Edge Beer Emporium in Pittsburgh. Billed as America's "only all European Beerfest," this two-day event will feature about 135 beers, including 40 from Belgium. Importers' representatives will be on hand, and there will be homemade food, entertainment, and a drawing for prizes at all three sessions.

The fifth annual Green River Brew Fest will be held next to Ryan & Casey Liquors on Main Street in Greenfield. This afternoon rain-or-shine event will feature hundreds of craft-brewed beers, with some brewers and brewery owners on hand. 27-28: Colorado Brewers' Festival, Fort Collins, CO
In late June, the city of Fort Collins hosts the Colorado Brewers' Festival, which takes place in the historic Old Town district. More than 40 Colorado breweries, including five from the immediate area, take part. There is also food and live entertainment. Proceeds from the festival benefit other events in Fort Collins.
28-July 4: Strongroom American Beer Festival, London, England
The Strongroom Bar, located in London, will host an American Beer Festival. This week-long celebration of Independence Day will feature American craft-brewed beers, along with beer from elsewhere in the Americas. Events will include American-themed food menus, live music and deejays. A special July 4 program will include an outdoor Texas grill and bucking bronco, vintage cars, and iconic American films. Admission is free.
