Beer Weeks 2015

Beer Weeks are city, or regionally organized, multi-event celebrations showcasing craft beer. They've become increasingly popular over the last year, as they offer even more opportunities to quaff great locally brewed beers over the course of several days at different venues and establishments. Although they all appear in the monthly event calendars, we've organized them here alphabetically for you. Click on the location to show the details and a link.



10,000 Minutes of Minnesota Craft Beer, various locations, MN: May 4-10

The Minnesota Brewers Guild presents 10,000 Minutes of Minnesota Craft Beer, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout the state. This seven-day celebration will include a number of events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Albuquerque, NM; May 21-31

The fifth annual Albuquerque Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Albuquerque. The headline event of this ten-day celebration is Albuquerque Brews and Blues. There will be more than 80 other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

American Craft Beer Week, nationwide: May 11-17

The Brewers Association presents American Craft Beer Week 2015, which will take place at establishments across the country. American Craft Beer Week, which kicks off the summer craft beer season, will be celebrated by hundreds of craft brewers and beer retailers, thousands of beer fans, and a congressional resolution honoring the nation's craft brewing industry.

Annapolis, MD: April 18-25

Annapolis Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Annapolis. Headline events of this eight-day celebration of craft beer include Drafts and Laughs and the Maryland Chicken Wing and Beer Festival. There will be many other events, such as a Beer Run, beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, and tastings.

Arizona, various locations: February 12-21

The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild presents the fifth annual Arizona Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout the state. This year’s celebration has been expanded to ten days. The kickoff event is the Arizona Strong Beer Festival. There will be more than 250 other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Asheville, NC: May 22-30

The fourth annual Asheville Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Asheville. This nine-day celebration, which is supported by the Asheville Brewers Alliance, culminates with the Beer City Festival. There will be man other events such as beer dinners, meet-the-brewer events, pub crawls, beer releases, and special tastings.

Athens, OH: July 10-18

The tenth annual Ohio Beer Week will be celebrated at breweries, bars, restaurants, and other venues in and around Athens. More than 50 Ohio craft breweries, pouring over 200 beers, will be represented at this nine-day celebration, and brewers will be in attendance. This year’s keynote speaker is Patrick Conway, founder of the Great Lakes Brewing Company. There will be dozens of daily events such as beer dinners and brunches, educational programs, tap takeovers, releases and special tastings.

Bend area, OR: May 22-31

The fourth annual Central Oregon Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in central Oregon. With 26 breweries, the region ranks near the top in breweries per capita in America. The headline event of this ten-day celebration is SMaSH, a single-malt and single-hop beer festival. There will be many other events include the Bend Ale Trail, along with beer dinners, meet-the-brewer events, pub crawls, trivia contests, beer releases, and special tastings.

Charlotte, NC: March 20-28

The fifth annual Charlotte Craft Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout the Charlotte area. The headline event of this nine-day celebration is the All Ale to the Queen Beer Carnival. There will be more than 100 other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Chicago, IL: May 14-24

The sixth annual Chicago Craft Beer Week will be celebrated at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Chicago. This 11-day celebration kicks off with Beer Under Glass, and wraps up with the 47th Fest. There will be more than 500 other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Cincinnati, OH: February 13-22

The fourth annual Cincinnati Beer Week will take place at more than 100 venues, including breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, in Cincinnati, southwest Ohio, and northern Kentucky. The headline events of this celebration, which has been expanded to ten days, are the Cincy Winter Brewfest, the Taproom Trolley preview tour, and a collaboration beer produced by 13 area breweries. Other events will include beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, and tastings.

Colorado: March 21-29

The Colorado Brewers Guild presents Colorado Beer Week 2015, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout Colorado. The headline event is Collaboration Fest in Denver. There will many other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Columbia, SC: March 21-28

The inaugural Soda City Suds Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Columbia. The eight-day celebration kicks off with the Suds and Spuds Market. There will be a number of other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Columbus, OH: May 1-9

Columbus Craft Beer Week 2015 will take place at more than 35 breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Columbus. There will be numerous events, such as educational sessions, beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Finger Lakes region, NY: May 9-17

The Finger Lakes Beer Trail presents the 2015 Finger Lakes Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the region. There will be dozens of events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, educational programs, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Frederick, MD: May 29-June 6

The fifth annual Frederick Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Frederick. This nine-day celebration kicks off with the Frederick Beer Week Tap Takeover, and closes with Beerfest at the Farm. Grand Rapids, MI: February 22-28

The fourth annual Grand Rapids Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Grand Rapids. The headline event of this celebration is the two-day Michigan Brewers Guild's Winter Beer Festival, along with pre- and post-festival parties. There will be a number of other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Grand Rapids, MI: March 9-15

Founders Brewing Company, in Grand Rapids, presents the second annual KBS Week, which will take place at the brewery’s tap room and various other locations in the city. This week-long celebration of west Michigan craft brewing marks the annual release of Kentucky Breakfast Stout after it has aged in bourbon barrels for a year in underground caves beneath Grand Rapids. On Saturday, the brewery will be pouring KBS on tap all day.

Harrisburg, PA: April 24-May 2

Harrisburg Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Harrisburg. There will be dozens of events, including beer and food pairings, educational programs, film showings, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Houston, TX: April 18-25

Houston Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Houston. This eight-day celebration will feature around 100 events, such as beer dinners, pub crawls, tap takeovers, educational seminars, and special releases.

Howard County, MD: March 21-29

Howard County Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the county. Headline events of this celebration, which has been expanded to nine days, include the Tap Party, which kicks off Beer Week, and the Spring Beer Festival. There will be other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Kalamazoo, MI: January 10-17

The fifth annual Kalamazoo Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Kalamazoo. There will be more than 200 events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Knoxville, TN: June 13-20

Knoxville Craft Beer Week 2015 will be celebrated at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Knoxville. The headline event of this eight-day celebration is the Knoxville Brew Fest. There will be many other events such as beer dinners and brunches, tap takeovers, releases and special tastings, beer education, trivia competitions, and outdoor events, including a 5-K run and kayaking on the Tennessee River.

Las Vegas, Reno, and other locations in NV: May 18-30

The fifth annual Nevada Beer Weeks will take place at hundreds of breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in Las Vegas and Reno, as well as at other locations in Nevada. The headline event of this 13-day celebration is The Springs Preserve's Brews & Blues Festival in Las Vegas. Other events will include beer dinners, meet-the-brewer events, pub crawls, trivia contests, beer releases, and special tastings.

Lehigh Valley, PA: February 15-22

The third annual Lehigh Valley Beer Week will take place at at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton areas. There will be a number of events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Madison, WI: May 1-10

Madison Craft Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Madison. This ten-day, two-weekend celebration will promote Madison's craft beer culture and educate people about it. The headline event is a Cask Ale Festival. Milwaukee, WI: April 18-25

Milwaukee Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Milwaukee. There will be hundreds of events during this eight-day celebration, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Missoula, MT: April 25-May 2

Craft Beer Promotions LLC presents the third annual Missoula Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Missoula. The headline event of this seven-day celebration is the Garden City Brewfest. There will be other events such as beer dinners, beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Montreal, QC, Canada: May 4-11

The inaugural Montreal Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Montreal. There will be a number of events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

New York, NY: February 20-March 1

The New York City Brewers Guild and the New York State Brewers Association present the seventh annual New York City Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the city. This ten-day celebration will begin with the Opening Tap at more than 100 locations. This year the Ruppert Cup’s will be awarded to the best brewer, to be voted on by the public. There will be many other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

North Carolina: April 1-30

North Carolina Beer Month 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues across the state. Last year, more than 70 North Carolina breweries participated. The month-long celebration includes numerous events such as festivals, a Beer Camp, beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Norwich, England: May 21-31

Norwich City of Ale 2015 will be held at dozens of public houses in the "Fine City" of Norwich. This 11-day celebration kicks off with a Launch Party at St Gregory's Church. Other events will include beer walks, a Brewers' Market, beer and food pairings, pub quizzes, special tastings, and meet-the-brewer events.

Oklahoma City, OK: May 9-17

The second annual Oklahoma City Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Oklahoma City. The headline event of this nine-day celebration is the Oklahoma Craft Beer Festival. Omaha, NE: February 13-22

The fourth annual Omaha Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the Omaha metropolitan area. The headline event of this ten-day celebration is the Extreme Beerfest. Ontario Beer Week, Canada: June 12-21

More than 50 Ontario breweries will participate in this ten-day celebration of craft beer. Beer Week begins with a kickoff party at Steam Whistle Brewing in Toronto. Philadelphia, PA: May 29-June 7

The eighth annual Philly Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Philadelphia. This ten-day celebration kicks off with the Opening Tap. Other headline events will include the Hammer of Glory Relay and the International Great Beer Expo. There will be hundreds of other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Portland, OR: June 11-21

The fifth annual PDX Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in Portland. Headline events of this 11-day celebration include the Portland Fruit Beer Festival, Rye Beer Festival, and Beer & Cheese Festival. There will be many other events such as educational programs, beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, pub crawls, release parties, tap takeovers, and special tastings.

Portsmouth, NH: February 21-March 5

2BeerGuys presents the sixth annual Portsmouth Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Portsmouth. The headline event of this ten-day celebration is the Seacoast Winter Brew Fest. The Business Association of the South Wedge Area and staff of the Tap & Mallet present Rochester Real Beer Week 2015. Roseburg, OR: May 9-16

Roseburg Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Roseburg. The headline events of this eight-day celebration are the Roseburg Homebrew Rendezvous and Brew Ha Ha. Sacramento, CA: February 26-March 8

The sixth annual Sacramento Beer Week will take place at at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the Sacramento Valley. The headline events are the Sacramento Brewers Showcase, which opens the celebration, and the Capital Beerfest, which closes it. San Antonio, TX : March 21-29

The fifth annual San Antonio Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around San Antonio. The headline event of this nine-day celebration is a Kick Off Party in the city’s Main Plaza, and winds up with a closing ceremony in which all the area’s craft breweries will be represented. Area brewers will offer a special Beer Week Collaboration beer. There will be many other events, such as beer dinners, pub crawls, tap takeovers, educational seminars, and special releases.

San Francisco Bay Area, CA: February 6-15

The San Francisco Brewers Guild presents San Francisco Beer Week 2015, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout the Bay Area. This ten-day celebration gets underway with the Opening Gala. There will be more than 400 other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Seattle, WA: May 7-17

The seventh annual Seattle Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Seattle. The headline events are Cask-O-Rama, which kicks off this 11-day celebration; and Beer and Brats in the Outfield at Safeco Field. Other events will include a celebration of Northwest women in beer, appearances by beer celebrities, beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, release parties, tap takeovers, and specially-priced drinks.

Tampa Bay Area, FL: March 7-15

The fourth annual Tampa Bay Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the Tampa Bay area. The headline event of this nine-day celebration is the Florida Brewers Guild Beer Festival. There will be more than 150 other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Tri-Cities of Johnson City and Kingsport, TN, and Bristol, VA: April 4-11

The 2015 Tri-Cities Craft Beer Week will take place at at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol, and nearby communities. This eight-day celebration, to be held in one of the nation’s fastest-growing craft beer regions, will feature events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Vancouver, BC, Canada: May 29-June 7

The sixth annual Vancouver Craft Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in metropolitan Vancouver. This ten-day celebration kicks off with the International Craft Beer Awards Gala, and closes with the Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival. Victoria, BC, Canada: March 7-15

The Victoria Beer Week Society presents the 2015 Victoria Beer Week. It will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Victoria. This nine-day celebration will kick off with a Cask Night at the Victoria Public Market. Volusia County, FL: January 30-February 8

Volusia Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in DeLand and Volusia County. The headline events of this ten-day celebration are the DeLand Craft Beer Festival, a “Brews & Bowties” beer dinner, and an appearance by author Patrick McGovern. Winchester, VA: June 6-12
