May 29-6: Frederick Beer Week, Frederick, MD

The fifth annual Frederick Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Frederick. This nine-day celebration kicks off with the Frederick Beer Week Tap Takeover, and closes with Beerfest at the Farm. There will be many other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

May 29-7: Philly Beer Week, Philadelphia, PA

The eighth annual Philly Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Philadelphia. This ten-day celebration kicks off with the Opening Tap. Other headline events will include the Hammer of Glory Relay and the International Great Beer Expo. There will be hundreds of other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

4-6: Southampton Beer Festival, Southampton, England

The Southern Hampshire Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 19th annual Southampton Beer Festival, which will take place at the O2 Guildhall. This three-day event will feature more than 90 Real Ales, along with a selection of 16 ciders and perries, a wide range of bottled beers, and wine by the glass. There will also be live music, food for purchase, and a family room.

5-6: Omaha Beer Fest, Omaha, NE

Urban Events, Inc., presents the fifth annual Omaha Beer Fest, which will take place at Stinson Park at Aksarben Village in Omaha. The two-day event will feature beers from 50 craft breweries, and brewery representatives will be on hand. There will also be Beer Academy classes, a Homebrewer Expo, live music, and food for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission and a special selection of beer and food, are available for Saturday's session. The festival charity is Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.

5-6: SAVOR: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience, Washington, DC

The Brewers Association presents the eighth annual SAVOR: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience, which will take place at the National Building Museum in Washington. This elegant evening event will feature beer from more than 70 independent breweries, many of which have not poured at this event before. Brewery personnel will be in attendance. There will also be a reception-style presentation of sweet and savory foods, along with tasted salons directed by leading names in beer and food.

6: Blue Hop BrewHaHa, Johnson City, TN*

Superfly Fabulous Events presents the second annual Blue Hop BrewHaHa, which will take place in downtown Johnson City. This afternoon event will feature beer form more than 20 breweries, many of them from the Johnson City area and east Tennessee. There will also be live music, street food, and craft vendors.

6: Inland Northwest BeerFest, Post Falls, ID

The 2015 Inland Northwest BeerFest will be held in the parking lot of Nates New York Pizza. This afternoon event will feature more than 20 beers from a dozen Idaho, Oregon, and Washington breweries. Pizza will be available for purchase. The festival chart is Blue Star Mothers.

6: Mountain Brewers Beer Fest, Twin Falls, ID

The North American Brewers Association presents the 21st annual Mountain Brewers Beer Fest, which will take place at Sandy Downs Racetrack in Twin Falls. This afternoon event will feature more than 600 beers from over 80 domestic and foreign breweries, many of them from the Mountain West. The Association's annual judged beer competition will take place in connection with the festival. There will also be live music, food for purchase, a prize raffle, and a live auction. Part of the proceeds will go to several local charities.

6: Mundelein Craft Beer Festival, Mundelein, IL

Mundelein Community Connections and Tighthead Brewing Company present the fourth annual Mundelein Craft Beer Festival. This afternoon event will take place across from the Metra station, in front of the new Village Hall. It will feature beer from Tighthead and around 30 other craft breweries, most of them from Illinois and the Midwest. There will also be live music, and food will be available for purchase. The festival is a benefit for Community Connections.

6: Ninety9Bottles Craft Beer Festival, Norwalk, CT

Ninety9Bottles, a liquor store, presents the second annual Ninety9Bottles Craft Beer Festival. It will take place at Oyster Shell Park in Norwalk, a venue overlooking the harbor. This afternoon event will feature more than 40 craft beers from New England, along with live entertainment and food for purchase.

6: Paws for Rhythm and Brews, Idyllwild, CA

Animal Rescue Friends of Idyllwild, a grass-roots animal-rescue charity in Idyllwild, will host Paws for Rhythm and Brews. This afternoon event will feature beer from 12 craft breweries, a homebrew competition, live blues music, barbecue for purchase, and a stein-holding competition.

6: Rocklin Brewfest, Rocklin, CA

The Rotary Club of South Placer presents the seventh annual Rocklin Brewfest, which will take place at Johnson Springview Park in Rocklin. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 30 craft breweries. There will be live music, and food vendors will be at the festival site. Proceeds will go to the South Placer Rotary Foundation.

6: Sasquatch Brewfest, Eugene, OR

The Northwest Legends Foundation presents the 13th annual Sasquatch Brewfest, which will take place at the Hop Valley Tasting Room and Brewery in Eugene's Fermentation District. This all-day outdoor event will feature beer from Pacific Northwest breweries, including beers brewed specially for the festival. There will also be a homebrewing contest, live music, food booths, and a silent auction. A brewer’s dinner will take place the evening before the festival. A large portion of the proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation.

6-12: Winchester Craft Beer Week, Winchester, VA

Winchester Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Winchester. The headline event of this week-long celebration is the Hop Blossom Craft Beer Festival. There will be a number of other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

6: Zoo Brew, Santa Barbara, CA

The Santa Barbara Zoo will host its sixth annual Zoo Brew. This afternoon event, which is a fund-raiser for the zoo, will feature tastings from more than 30 breweries, many of them from the Central Coast. There will be a special food menu, and merchandise will be available for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission and complimentary pub-fare appetizers, are available.

10-14: Mondial de la Biere, Montreal, QC, Canada

The 22nd annual Mondial de la Biere will be held indoors at the Palais des Congrès and outdoors on Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle in downtown Montreal. This five-day event will feature 500 beers from around the world, including hard-to-find beers and beers specially brewed for the festival. There will also be Quebec cider and other food specialties from the province, and the Mbeer series of conferences and seminars. Admission to the festival is free.

11-14: Middle Earth Beer Festival, Hurst Green, England

The seventh Middle Earth Beer Festival will be held at Hurst Green Memorial Hall. This four-day event honors J.R.R. Tolkien, who was a frequent visitor to Stonyhurst College in Hurst Green. It will feature more than 40 Real Ales and ciders. There will also be live music; food for purchase; and craft stalls, displays, and exhibitions.

12-13: Guildford Beer Festival, Guildford, England

The Guildford Cricket Club presents the sixth Guildford Beer Festival, which will take place under marquees at The Sports Ground, near the town center. This two-day event will feature more than 70 cask ales from independent breweries in Surrey and surrounding counties, along with ciders, wines, and soft drinks. A variety of local headline acts will perform. Parking is free.

12-13: Local-Craft Brewfest, Somerville, MA

The Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts presents the fourth annual Local-Craft Brewfest, which will take place at the Armory in Somerville. This two-day, three session event, which is a fund-raiser for the Network, will feature a variety of craft beers, ciders, and meads from New England, many of which incorporate local food products. There will also be live entertainment, an educational program, and locally-sourced food for purchase. Friday evening’s session will include a tasting of cask-conditioned beers, hosted by Randy Baril, the head cellarman of NERAX.

12: Raley Field Brewfest, Sacramento, CA

Raley Field, the home of the Sacramento River Cats, will host the ninth annual Raley Field Brewfest. This evening event, to be held under a tent on the warning track, will feature beer from more than 50 breweries, many of them from California. There will also be live music, and food will be available for purchase.

12-14: Wildernesstival Craft Beer Fest, Parhall, CO

Aspen Canyon Ranch, in The Gore Mountain Range, will host the 2015 Wildernesstival Craft Beer Fest. This three-day event will feature beer from more than 15 local craft breweries. There will also be music from 15 live bands; an educational program; beer and wild game pairing; outdoor activities including camping, fishing, biking; and barbecue and other food for purchase. Camping is available at the festival site. VIP tickets, with stage access and a VIP tent, are available.

13: Great Northern Beer Festival, Eagle River, WI

The 2015 Great Northern Beer Festival will be held on the Festival Grounds at Hi-Pines Campground in Eagle River. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 30 breweries, most of them from Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest, along with homebrew from the Northwoods LUSH Inc., Club. Food and snacks will be available for purchase. Proceeds will go to several local charities.

13: Hattiesburg Craft Beer Festival, Hattiesburg, MS

The third annual Hattiesburg Craft Beer Festival will be held at the Historic Hattiesburg Train Depot. This afternoon event will feature more than 100 beers from over 30 breweries, along with a selection of homebrewed beers. There will also be live music, and food will be available for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission, a special selection of beers, and complimentary food, are available.

13: Hop Blossom Craft Beer Festival, Winchester, VA

The third annual Hop Blossom Craft Beer Festival will be held in Winchester's Old Town. This family-friendly afternoon event will feature beer from more than 30 breweries, including a number of breweries from the area. There will also be a homebrew competition, live entertainment, and food for purchase. The festival charities are the SPCA and GoodDogz.org, a dog-rescue organization.

13: Lombard Ale Fest, Lombard, IL

Lou Dog Events presents the second annual Lombard Ale Fest, which will take place downtown at the Lombard Metra station. This afternoon event will feature more than 80 beers from over 30 craft breweries from throughout the country. There will also be live entertainment, and Chicagoland food trucks will be on hand. VIP tickets, with early admission and a food voucher, are available. Proceeds will benefit non-profit organizations in the community.

13: Monterey Beer Festival, Monterey, CA

The 14th annual Monterey Beer Festival will be held at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center. Recent editions of this afternoon event have featured beer from more than 80 local, domestic, and foreign breweries; live music; and food for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.

13: New Hope Beer Festival, New Hope, PA

The second annual New Hope Beer Festival will be held at the Eagle Fire House Banquet Hall, located within walking distance from downtown. This afternoon event will feature beer from Philadelphia-area craft breweries. There will also be live music, entertainment, and food and merchandise vendors.

18-20: Tynedale Beer Festival, Corbridge, England

Tynedale RFC and Tynedale Lions present the 2015 Tynedale Beer Festival, which will take place at Tynedale Park in Corbridge. This three-day event, to be held on the banks in the River Tyne in Roman Wall Country, will feature more than 100 beers, 40 ciders, and a selection of wines. There will also be live music, street food for purchase, and children’s activities. All profits will go to charity.

19-21: Beer & BBQ Show, London, ON, Canada

The Western Fair District presents the third annual London Beer & BBQ Show, which will take place at the Western Fair Grounds in London. This three-day event will feature more than 50 Ontario craft beers. There will also be barbecue, including pork ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and chicken; other food for purchase; an educational program; a variety of sports; cooking demonstrations; and activities.

19-21: Oregon Garden Brewfest, Silverton, OR

Growl Movement presents the 11th annual Oregon Garden Brewfest, which will be held in the Grand Hall at the Oregon Garden Resort. This three-day event will feature more than 135 beers, ciders, and meads from over 65 breweries, with an emphasis on Oregon-made products. There will be a beer education program, live bands performing on two stages, and food from local vendors. Festival-goers are invited to explore the venue’s botanical gardens. A Brewer's Tasting Dinner will take place at Seven Brides Brewing on Thursday evening before the festival itself.

19-20: Thirst and Last Beer Festival, Nuneaton, England

The Nuneaton & Bedworth Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents its 2015 Thirst and Last Beer Festival, which will take place at the Nuneaton Co-Operative Club. This two-day event will feature more than 40 beers, ciders, and perries. There will be live entertainment both evenings, and hot and cold food will be available for purchase. 

19-21: Washington Brewers Festival, Redmond, WA

The Washington Beer Commission presents the 2015 Washington Brewers Festival, which will take place at King County's Marymoor Park in Redmond. Friday evening's 21-and-over session will feature beer from around 70 Washington breweries, including a special Friday-only beer selection, along with food and live music. Saturday and Sunday's sessions, which are open to all ages, will feature more than 300 draft beers, along with ciders and wines, from around 90 breweries. There will also be live music, a brewers' keg toss contest, food for purchase, a craft market, and a kids' playground and root beer garden.

20: Big Solano Brew-Haha, Fairfield, CA

The second annual Big Solano Brew-Haha will be held at a new venue, the Joseph Nelson Community Center in Suisun City. This afternoon event will feature beer from dozens of local and regional breweries. There will also be live entertainment, including music and comedy, along with local food for purchase. The festival is a fund-raiser for the Solano Library Foundation's literacy programs.

20: California Beer Festival-Marin County, Novato, CA

California Beer Festival, LLC, presents the fourth annual Marin County edition of the California Beer Festival, which will take place at Stafford Lake Park in Novato. This afternoon event will feature more than 70 beers from over 30 breweries, most of them from California. There will also be live entertainment; food, including sliders; and bocce ball. VIP tickets, with early admission and an opportunity to meet the brewers, are available. Part of the proceeds will go to local non-profits.

20: Founders Fest, Grand Rapids, MI

Founders Brewing Company presents the eighth annual Founders Fest, which will take place in downtown Grand Rapids. This outdoor daytime beer and music festival will feature Founders beer, including Founders Fest Wheat; live music; food vendors; and a "Local Artists Row" showcasing area artists and designers.

20: Lodi Craft Beer Festival, Lodi, CA

The Lodi-Tokay Rotary Club presents the inaugural Lodi Craft Beer Festival, which will take place on the grounds of the Lodi Grape Festival. This late-afternoon event will feature beer from more than 30 northern and central California breweries. There will also be live music; food trucks serving sausages, ribs, pizzas, and other items; and games. All proceeds will go to community and international charities.

20: Rhythm & Brews Festival, Hermann, MO

The Tin Mill Brewery, located in a historic old mill in downtown Hermann, will host the ninth annual Rhythm & Brews Festival. This afternoon event will feature beer from Midwest microbreweries. There will also be live music, and food and merchandise vendors will be at the festival site.

20: Tap Into Summer, Bangor, ME

The third annual Tap Into Summer, "Bangor's Beer Festival," will be held on the city's waterfront. This afternoon event will feature beer from 20 Maine craft breweries. There will also be live music, and food will be available for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission, a special selection of beers, and an opportunity to meet the brewers, are available. Fall Out Boy will perform at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion after the festival.

25-28: Beerfest Asia, Singapore

The seventh annual Beerfest Asia will take place at the Marina Promenade, Singapore's Formula 1 track. This four-day event (Thursday's session is trade-only) will feature around 500 beers from all over the world, along with cider, wine, and spirits. The entertainment lineup will include international tribute bands and local groups; a comedy lounge; and fringe activities, including bar games and competitions. VIP tickets, with free-flow beer and other perks, are available.

25-27: Bromsgrove Beer Festival, Bromsgrove, England

The Redditch and Bromsgrove branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 13th annual Bromsgrove Beer Festival, which will take place on the grounds of the Bromsgrove Rugby Football Club. This three-day event will feature more than 120 Real Ales, along with 50 ciders and perries and a selection of fruit wines. There will be live entertainment Saturday afternoon, tutored tastings Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, and food and merchandise for purchase.

26-27: Greater Manchester Cider & Perry Festival, Manchester, England

The Greater Manchester branches of the Campaign For Real Ale present the fifth annual Greater Manchester Cider & Perry Festival, which will take place at the Palace Hotel. This two-day event will feature more than 40 traditional ciders and perries. Food will be available for purchase. The CAMRA North U.K. Cider and Perry Competition will be held in conjunction with the festival itself.

26-28: New England Brewfest, Lincoln, NH

The Lincoln-Woodstock Chamber of Commerce presents the 11th annual New England Brewfest. The headline event of this three-day celebration is Saturday Night On Tap, which will take place at Loon Mountain Resort. It will feature more than 100 beers from over 30 New Hampshire and New England breweries, along with live music and food for purchase. Other events that weekend include a bus tour, a beer train, a beer dinner, a “Brew U” educational program, and a screening of the film “Brew Hampshire.”

26-28: Portland International Beer Festival, Portland, OR

The 2015 Portland International Beer Festival returns to Holladay Park at Lloyd Center. This three-day event will feature more than 200 beers from 16 countries, including rare, hard-to-find, and locally-brewed beers. Live bands will perform all weekend. There will also be a Grande Beer Garden; food for purchase; a huge lawn for picnickers; and games, including darts, backgammon, checkers, chess, and cards. The festival charity is PetCross.

27: Charlbury Beer Festival, Charlbury, England

The 18th annual Charlbury Beer Festival will be held at the Charlbury Cricket Club. This all-day event, which celebrates the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta, will feature 50 Real Ales from the length of the Thames, including Runnymede. Ciders, perries, and wines will be available as well. There will be live musical acts and Morris dancers, the World "Aunt Sally" Open Singles competition ("Aunt Sally" is a traditional pub game), food, and children's activities. Proceeds will go to Charlbury Primary School and other charities.

27: Clifford Champion Beer Festival, Clifford, England

The Clifford Village Hall Supporter's Committee and Clifford Amateur Football Club present the fifth annual Clifford Champion Beer Festival, which will take place at Village Hall. This all-day festival will feature more than 30 beers, including champion ales, as well as selection of traditional ciders, lagers, and a prosecco wine bar. There will also be live entertainment and dancing, and food will be available for purchase.

27-28: Great European Beerfest, Pittsburgh, PA

The Sharp Edge Beer Emporium, in Pittsburgh, will host the 19th annual Great European Beerfest. This two-day, three-session event will feature more than 100 beers, including many from Belgium and continental Europe. There will be live entertainment, and food will be available for purchase. VIP tickets, with a special selection of beers and complimentary food, are available. A Connoisseur Night will take place on Friday evening before the festival itself.
