February 22-3: New York City Beer Week, New York, NY

The New York City Brewers Guild presents the fifth Annual New York City Beer Week will take place at more than 100 venues in New York City. All 12 of the city's craft breweries will take part. The three signature events are the Opening Night Party at Galapagos Art Space, NYC Brewer's Choice at City Winery, and the Closing Party at La Birreria at Eataly. Other events will include beer dinners and brunches, meet-the-brewer events, tap takeovers, pub trivia, tastings, and releases.

February 22-3: Sacramento Beer Week, Sacramento, CA

The Sacramento beer community presents the fourth annual Sacramento Beer Week, which will take place at various locations in the Sacramento Valley. There will be more than 400 events, headlined by the Sacramento Brewers Showcase and the Capital Beerfest (listed separately on the calendar). Other events include beer dinners, food and beer pairings, meet-the-brewer nights, special tastings, trivia contests, educational programs, and specially-priced pints.

February 27-2: Rotherham Real Ale & Music Festival, Rotherham, England

The 21st annual Rotherham Real Ale & Music Festival will be held at the MAGNA Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham. This event will feature seven bars serving more than 200 Real Ales hand pulls, with an emphasis on ales from the west of England; Real Cider; wine; food; and a variety of live entertainers. Proceeds will go to local charities.

February 28-2: Bradford Beer Festival, Saltaire, England

The Bradford Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2013 Bradford Beer Festival, which will take place at Victoria Hall in Saltaire. The festival will feature more than 100 Real Ales, along with ciders and foreign beers, served at six bars. Hot and cold food will be sold at all sessions, there will be entertainment Friday evening and at both Saturday sessions, and a children's room will be available during lunchtime sessions.

February 28-2: CAMRA Wigan Beer Festival, Wigan, England

The Wigan Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 26th annual CAMRA Wigan Beer Festival, which will take place at a larger venue, the Robin Park Indoor Sports Centre. Recent editions of this festival have featured more than 80 Real Ales, ciders, perries, and foreign beers. There will be live entertainment at all sessions except Friday's matinee, along with games and a tombola. CAMRA members will be admitted free and a courtesy bus will run between the town center and the venue.

February 28-2: Sussex Beer Festival, Hove, England

The Sussex Branches of the Campaign for Real Ale present the 23rd annual Sussex Beer Festival, which will take place at Hove Centre. Organizers expect to have more than 200 Real Ales, along with more than 40 ciders and perries and specialty beers from around the world. There will also be entertainment by The Sex Pirates Saturday evening; food, including vegetarian and vegan options; merchandise for sale; and face-painting.

1: Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue Festival, Atlanta, GA

Trigger Agency, LLC, presents the Atlanta stop on the 2013 Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue Festival tour. It will take place in expanded quarters "under the big tents" at Atlantic Station. This afternoon event will feature unlimited sampling of 60 beers and 40 bourbons; live rock, blues, and bluegrass music; barbecue and other foods; and seminars led by master distillers, brewmasters, and pit masters. VIP "Bacon and Whole Hog" tickets, with early admission, an expanded selection of bacon dishes, and special stage access, are available.

1-3: Bockfest, Cincinnati, OH

The 21st annual Bockfest, the oldest and largest in the United States, will be held in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine and central business districts. This weekend event, which celebrates the city's brewing heritage and the coming of spring, starts with a parade on Friday evening that goes from Arnold's Bar & Grill to Bockfest Hall where the ceremonial first keg is blessed. The Hall, which will be open throughout the weekend, will feature live entertainment, food, historic walking tours, breweriana, a homebrew competition, Continental Sunday celebrations and plenty of bock beer.

1-2: Boulder Strong Ale Fest, Boulder, CO

Avery Brewing Company presents the 11th Annual Boulder Strong Ale Fest, which will take place in the brewery's Tap Room. This two-day event will feature more than 100 "epic brews" from craft breweries around the country, all of them 8% ABV or higher. Recent editions of this festival have also featured live music.

1-2: Chappel Beer Festival, Chappel, England

The Essex Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 27th annual Chappel Beer Festival, which will take place at The Goods Shed in the East Anglian Railway Museum. This event, which is a scaled-down version of the Summer Beer Festival, will feature more than 65 beers. Late-night trains will run on the Marks Tey to Sudbury line after the event. The festival is a fund-raiser for the museum.

1: Glass City Beer Fest, Toledo, OH

The seventh annual Glass City Brew Fest will be held at a new location, Hall 2 of the Lucas County Recreation Center in Toledo. This is an evening event. Last year's edition featured 89 beers from 27 microbreweries, and organizers expect to offer an expanded selection. Food will be available, and there will be live music. All proceeds will go to The Arc of Lucas County and the Northwest Ohio Hemophilia Foundation.

1-2: Horsforth Beer Festival, Horsforth, England

The fifth annual Horsforth Beer Festival will be held at St Margaret's Church in Horsforth. Organizers expect to have around 80 draft beers and ciders. Hot and cold food will be served, and there will be live entertainment.

2: Brewer's Ball, Washington, DC

AirWatch presents the ninth annual Brewer's Ball, which will take place at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. This evening event, which benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, will feature beer from more than two dozen microbreweries from the region; food from Washington's top restaurants; live entertainment by The Congress; and a silent auction for travel, one-of-a-kind experiences, and other items. This event is expected to sell out.

2: Cape Fear Beer Festival, Wilmington, NC

Cape Fear Festivals, LLC, presents the third Annual Cape Fear Beer Festival, which will take place downtown at the Wilmington Convention Center. This afternoon event will feature more than 100 domestic and imported beers, along with a selection of ciders and wines. A variety of food will be available for purchase, and merchandise vendors will be on hand. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.

2: Day of the Living Ales, Chicago, IL

The Chicago Beer Society presents the ninth annual Day of the Living Ales, which will take place at Goose Island Wrigleyville. The festival, which organizers describe as "a walk-around real ale tasting," will consist of afternoon and evening tasting sessions. Each session will feature a selection of cask-conditioned ales from Chicagoland breweries and invited guests (there have been more than 40 beers at recent events); meats, cheeses, and other appetizers; and voting for the Champion Real Ale of Chicagoland.

2: Florida Brewers Guild Beerfest, Tampa, FL

The Florida Brewers Guild presents the 2013 Beerfest, which will take place at a new location, Centennial Park in Tampa's historic Ybor City. This afternoon event, which is a fund-raiser for the Guild, will feature beer from more than 40 Florida craft breweries, along with live music and food for purchase. This festival is expected to sell out.

2: Great Arizona Beer Festival, Tempe, AZ

AZCentral.com presents the 2013 Great Arizona Beer Festival, which will take place at Tempe Beach Park. This afternoon event will feature more than 200 craft beers, along with live music, food for purchase, games, contests, and give-aways. VIP tickets, with early admission and catered food, are available. All proceeds will benefit Sun Sounds of Arizona.

2: Kansas Craft Brewers Exposition, Lawrence, KS

The Kansas Craft Brewers Guild and Downtown Lawrence present the second annual Kansas Craft Brewers Exposition, which will take place at Abe & Jake's Landing at the Riverfront in Lawrence. This afternoon event will feature scores of beers from the region's craft breweries. There will also be food for purchase, music, and informational and educational displays.

2: Naples Craft Beer Fest, Naples, FL

The Naples North Rotary Club Foundation, in partnership with Coastal Beverage, presents the second annual Naples Craft Beer Fest. It will take place at Bayfront Place (corner of Tamiami Trail and Goodlette Road). This afternoon event will feature more than 60 craft beers, paired with food from ten local restaurants. There will be live music; and Rocky Patel’s cigar bar, “Burn,” will also take part. Proceeds will be donated to charity.

2: Philly Craft Beer Festival, Philadelphia, PA

Starfish Junction Productions presents the seventh annual Philly Craft Beer Festival, which will take place under heated tents on the former Naval Airstrip. This afternoon event will feature more than 100 beers from 50 breweries, and food will be available for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission, brewers in attendance, and a special selection of beers, are available. Proceeds will go to the Committee to Benefit the Children.

2: Pint with the Past, Hickory Corners, MI

The Gilmore Car Museum, located in Hickory Corners (near Kalamazoo), will host its second annual Pint with the Past beer tasting. This evening event, with a "Night at the Speakeasy" theme, will feature beer from Founders and other Michigan breweries. There will also be live music and hors d’oeuvres. Attendees will have an opportunity to view the museum's more than 150 automobiles.

2-3: Split Thy Brooklyn Skull, Brooklyn, NY

Mugs Alehouse, a beer bar in Brooklyn, will host the 2013 edition of Split Thy Brooklyn Skull. This two-day event will feature around 40 high-gravity beers, along with Brooklyn Blood Brothers and Southern Tier Imperial Stout on cask. There is no cover charge.

2-10: Tampa Bay Beer Week, Tampa Bay Area, FL

The second annual Tampa Bay Beer Week will take place at various locations in the Tampa Bay area. The headline event will be the Florida Brewers Guild Beer Festival in Ybor City (listed separately on the calendar). There will be more than 150 other events including beer dinners, tap takeovers, release parties, meet-the-brewer events, tastings and a 5-K run.

2: Urban Brew Fest, Brooklyn, NY

The 2013 Urban Brew Fest will be held at Littlefield NYC, a performance and arts venue in Brooklyn. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each more than 60 craft and specialty beers, with brewery representatives on hand, along with live music and food for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.

2: Westside Tastes and Brews, Atlanta, GA

The 2013 Westside Tastes and Brews will be held at Atlanta Food Truck Park & Market. This afternoon event will feature more than 100 beers and wines, six food samples from six food trucks, and live bands and DJ Suspense. Part of the proceeds will go to Governor's Glen Senior Support Services.

2: Windy City Brewhaha, Chicago, IL

The 2013 Windy City Brewhaha will be held at the Skyline Loft at the Bridgeport Art Center on Chicago's South Side. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with 20 or more beers from local craft breweries. Food will be available for purchase. 

6-8: London Drinker Beer and Cider Festival, London, England

The North London Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2013 London Drinker Beer and Cider Festival, which will take place at the Camden Centre, opposite St Pancras Station in London. This event, which is staffed by CAMRA volunteers, will feature more than 150 beers, ciders, perries, and imported beers. Food will be served, and admission to the Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime sessions is free.

7-9: Loughborough Beer Festival, Loughborough, England

The Loughborough and North Leicester Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 37th annual Loughborough Beer Festival, which will take place at The Polish Club. Recent editions of this festival have featured 70 or more Real Ales, along with a selection of ciders and perries; live music Friday and Saturday evenings; and locally-sourced hot and cold food at all sessions. 

7-10: Preston Beer Festival, Preston, England

The 20th annual Preston Beer Festival will be held at the historic St. Walburge's Church in Preston. Organizers expect to have an expanded selection of beers (there were 65 beers and 20 ciders and perries at last year's festival), along with live music and a prize raffle. Admission to Sunday's session is free. Proceeds from the festival will help ensure St. Walburge's survival and help a number of charities.

8-10: Barcelona Beer Festival, Barcelona, Spain

The 2013 Barcelona Beer Festival will be held at a new venue, Cupula Las Arenas. Organizers expect to have more than 300 beers, served at a 50-tap bar. Half of last year's lineup was from local craft brewers, and half was from foreign brewers. Food will be available; and there will be tastings, lectures, and round tables.

8-17: Boston Beer Week, Boston, MA

Beer Advocate magazine presents Boston Beer Week 2013, which will take place at scores of locations within the 128 Belt. This year's celebration of craft beer from Boston and beyond has been moved to March, and will end on St. Patrick's Day. The feature event will be the Extreme Beer Fest (listed separately on the calendar). Other events will include beer dinners, meet-the-brewer events, pub crawls, trivia contests, beer releases, and special tastings.

8-10: Braukunst Live!, Munich, Germany

Finest Spirits presents the second annual Braukunst Live!, which will take place at in the MVG-Museum in Munich. This three-day event will feature an expanded selection of beers, with around 75 German, international, and craft breweries represented. There will also be a Braukunst Live! Academy educational program with open-stage discussions and special tasting sessions (extra admission charge).

8-9: Ultimate Craft Beer Extravaganza, Dayton, OH

B&G Events presents the inaugural Ultimate Craft Beer Extravaganza, which will take place at the Dayton Convention Center. The two-day event will consist of three daily sessions, each with around 350 beers, voting for the best beer of the festival, and a food voucher for each attendee. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.

9: Beertopia, Fort Mill, SC

Grapevine, a retail store and wine bar in Fort Mill, presents the fifth annual Beertopia, which will take place in the parking lot. This afternoon event will feature more than 150 beers from at least 50 breweries, live entertainment by U-Phonik, and food for purchase. Part of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

9: Brew-Ski Festival, Harbor Springs, MI

Boyne Highlands, a resort located in Harbor Springs, will host the fourth annual Brew-Ski Festival. Last year's festival was an afternoon event, held under a tent at the base of the ski slopes. It featured more than 100 craft-brewed beers, from over 45 breweries, along with bratwurst, a rail jam, and live entertainment; and, after the festival itself, a party with live music in the Zoo Bar.

9: Brewfest, Fort Wayne, IN

The sixth annual Brewfest will take place at the historic Fort Wayne Masonic Temple. This afternoon event will feature a wide variety of craft beer from Indiana and the region, a judged homebrew competition, live music, snacks, and a silent auction. Part of the proceeds will support the preservation of the Temple.

9: Busch's Charity Wine & Beer Tasting, Plymouth, MI

Busch's Fresh Food Market presents the annual Charity Wine & Beer Tasting, which will take place at the Fox Hills Banquet Center in Plymouth. This evening event, which is a fund-raiser for the Education Excellence Foundation, will feature an assortment of wines and Michigan-brewed beers, along with hors d'oeuvres, breads, cheeses, and other food. There will be an after-party following the tasting.

9: Fredericton Craft Beer Festival, Fredericton, NB, Canada

The 2013 Fredericton Craft Beer Festival will be held at the Delta Fredericton. This evening event will feature a variety of craft beers. VIP tickets, with a special selection of beers and a private seminar on beer tasting, are available. All proceeds will go to Team Diabetes.

9: Gate City Brewfest, Pocatello, ID

The third annual Gate City Brewfest will take place in Old Town Pocatello. This daytime event will feature more than 50 beers, snacks, live music ,and trolley service around the area.

9: Heavy Seas Real Ale and BBQ Festival, Halethorpe, MD

Clipper City Brewery, the home of Heavy Seas beer, will host the fifth annual Heavy Seas Real Ale and BBQ Festival. This afternoon event will feature ten tap beers and ten cask-conditioned ales, all from Heavy Seas; barbecue from Kloby's smokehouse; food from eight other restaurants; live music; and a behind-the-scenes brewery experience.

9: Hops & Props, Oshkosh, WI

EAA AirVenture Museum, in Oshkosh, will host Hops & Props 2013. This evening event will feature more than 250 beers from around the world, an opportunity to meet the brewers and learn about beer, admission to the museum's exhibits, music from several live bands, food from area restaurants, and coffee and sweets. There will be a VIP beer school and dinner before the festival itself. Proceeds will support the EAA's community programs.

9: Kona Brewers Festival, Kailua-Kona, HI

Sunetric, Keauhou Veterinary Hospital and First Hawaiian Bank present the 18th annual Kona Brewers Festival, which will take place at King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel on the shores of Kailua Bay. This afternoon event, made possible by the Bill Healy Foundation, will feature 70 beers, food prepared by 30 Island chefs, and live entertainment. The festival, which benefits local cultural and environmental organizations, is part of a weekend-long program of events that includes a homebrew competition, a beer dinner, a golf tournament, and a Walk/Run for Hops race.

9: Mad March Cider Festival, Bomley, England

The Bromley Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2013 Mad March Cider Festival, which will take place at the HG Wells Centre in the center of Bromley. This all-day event will feature at 20 least Real Ciders and Real Perries, with an emphasis on Kentish products.

9: MarchFest, Nelson, New Zealand

The 2013 MarchFest, a celebration of craft beers, regional wines, slow food, and eclectic music, will be held at Nelson's Founders Heritage Park. This event will feature special festival beers from local microbreweries, along with a selection of ciders and wines; beer talks; brewing and cider-making demonstrations; local, national, and international musical acts; food; and family and children's activities.

9: New Orleans International Beer Festival, New Orleans, LA

The 2013 New Orleans International Beer Festival will be held at Champions Square. This afternoon event will feature more than 150 domestic and imported craft beers, including special cask-conditioned festival beers, served in five beer gardens. There will also be a beer education program, live music, food, and games. VIP tickets, with early admission and a special selection of beer, are available.

9: Prescot Cables FC Beer Festival, Prescot, England

The Prescot Cables Football Club will host its third annual Beer Festival. This two-day event will feature 25 Real Ales, five ciders, and cask pilsner, selected and sourced by the Liverpool Organic Brewery, along with food for purchase. The price of admission includes two pints. 

9: SLO Xtreme Beer Fest, San Luis Obispo, CA

The Vintage Bicycle Association of California presents the 2013 SLO Xtreme Beer Fest, which will take place at Vets Hall in San Luis Obispo. Last year's festival was an afternoon event featuring sour, extra hoppy, high alcohol, barrel-aged, and other "extreme" beers from more than 30 breweries; food for purchase; and an educational program.

9: Southern Michigan Winter Beer Festival, Jackson, MI

The third annual Southern Michigan Winter Beer Festival will be held at the American 1 Events Center in Jackson. This afternoon event, which will take place at the Jackson County Fairgrounds, will feature around 150 beers, with brewery and distributor representatives on hand. The festivities will also include a homebrewing demonstration; bratwurst, pretzels, and other food items; and premium coffee.

9: Spring Craft Beer Festival, Uniondale, NY

Starfish Junction Productions presents the seventh annual Spring Craft Beer Festival, which will take place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This event will consist of afternoon and evening sessions. Each session will feature a beer garden with more than 100 beers from over 50 craft breweries from around the country, including beer brewed on Long Island. Food will be available for purchase.

9: War Horse Brew Fest, Geneva, NY

War Horse Brewing Company presents the third annual War Horse Brew Fest, which will take place at Three Brothers Wineries and Estates in Geneva. This afternoon event will feature beers from ten local breweries; live music, and a live broadcast by 99.3 "The Wall"; a number of food and merchandise vendors; and a homebrewers competition award ceremony.

13-19: Cask Ale Festival, Didsbury, England

Ye Olde Cock Inn, a public house in Didsbury, will host a Cask Ale Festival. A variety of Real Ales from local breweries will be available. There will be live music each day, Thursday through Sunday; and there will be a pork roast on Saturday.

14-16: Booze on the Ouse, St Neots, England

The Huntingdon Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 37th "Booze on the Ouse," the St Neots Beer Festival, which will take place at the Priory Centre in St Neots. Recent editions of this festival have featured around 55 Real Ales, along with Real Cider and bottled foreign beer; cold food at all sessions; a CAMRA merchandise stand; and an "Everyone's a Winner" tombola.

14-16: Bristol Beer Festival, Bristol, England

The Bristol & District Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 16th annual Bristol Beer Festival, which will take place at Brunel's Old Station in Bristol. Organizers expect to have around 130 Real Ales "from near and far," along with an expanded range of ciders and perries. Food will be available at all sessions.

14-16: Burton Beer Festival, Burton-on-Trent, England

The Burton & South Derbyshire Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 34th annual Burton Beer Festival, which will take place at Town Hall in Burton-on-Trent. Organizers expect to have a large selection of beers from around the country (recent festivals have featured more than 100), along with Real Ciders, perries, and country wines. There will be live entertainment on Friday and Saturday, hot and cold food will be available, and a selection of local traders will be on hand during daytime sessions.

15-16 BeerAdvocate.com Extreme Beer Fest, Boston, MA

BeerAdvocate.com presents the 2013 Extreme Beer Fest, which will take place at The Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts. Recent editions of this two-day event have featured a Friday evening "Night of the Barrels," with more than 60 barrel-aged beers, along with snacks; and Saturday afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 125 beers, beer-friendly food, and educational panels for VIP ticket holders. This event is expected to sell out.

15-16: Epic Beer Festival San Diego, San Diego, CA

Epic Beer Festivals presents the inaugural Epic Beer Festival San Diego, which will take place at San Diego Convention Center. This two-day, three session event will feature more than 230 beers from 80 craft breweries. More details will be posted on the Epic Beer Festivals site.

15-17: Hawkshead Brewery Spring Beer Festival, Staveley, England

The Hawkshead Brewery will host its 2013 Spring Beer Festival, which will take place at the brewery's Beer Hall. This semi-annual event will feature more than 60 beers, all served on hand pulls from the brewery's cellars. Food is available from the brewery's kitchen, and there will be live music. Admission is free.

14-16: Leeds Beer, Cider and Perry Festival, Pudsey, England

The Leeds Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 20th annual Leeds Beer, Cider and Perry Festival, which will take place at Pudsey Civic Hall. Organizers expect to have 200 Real Ales (this year’s theme is "The Top 20"); traditional Real Cider and Real Perry, including products from lesser-known areas; a Global Beer Bar; and a Mild Trail. There will also be performances by local musicians, hot and cold food, beery stalls, a snack emporium, and a tombola.

15-24: Charlotte Craft Beer Week, Charlotte, NC

The third annual Charlotte Craft Beer Week will take place at establishments throughout the Charlotte area. Events during this ten-day grassroots celebration of craft beer will include tastings of rare and exotic brews, showcases featuring local and regional breweries, food and beer pairing events, brewery tours, and appearances by beer celebrities.

15-16: Mazer Cup Commercial and Home Mead Competition, Boulder, CO

The 2013 Mazer Cup International Commercial and Home Mead Competition will take place at the Outlook Hotel in Boulder. There will be competitions for both professional meaderies and home mead enthusiasts from around the world. On Friday evening, there will be a "Mead Mixer" (open to the public; only 200 tickets will be public) with mead samples and food.

16: Pouring At The Coast, Seaside, OR

The Seaside Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Oregon Brewers Guild, presents Pouring At The Coast, which will take place at the Seaside Convention Center. This evening event will feature an expanded selection of beers (there were 35, from 18 Oregon breweries, last year), along with food to pair with the beer. There will also be a Brewers' Dinner the evening before the festival itself. 

15-16: Whitehaven Beer Festival, Whitehaven, England

The West Cumbria Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2013 Whitehaven Beer Festival, which will take place at Whitehaven Civic Hall. Organizers expect to have around 40 cask-conditioned ales, along with several ciders and perries. This festival is also the site of CAMRA's Northwest Regional Champion Beer of Britain heats in the Bitters category.

15-16: Winslow Beer Festival, Winslow, England

The Winslow Lions Club, in association with the Campaign for Real Ale, presents the eighth annual Winslow Beer Festival. This two-day, three-session event will take place at the Winslow Public Hall. Recent editions of this festival have featured more than 40 beers, ciders, and perries. Friday evening's session will be opened by John Bercow MP, Speaker of the House of Commons. Six Nations rugby matches will be shown on television during Saturday's matinee session.

16: Fairfax Beer Festival, Fairfax, CA

The Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and Iron Springs Pub and Brewery present the 18th annual Fairfax Brewfest, which will take place at the Pavilion in downtown Fairfax. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 20 breweries, served in indoor and outdoor beer gardens; voting for Best Brew; traditional Irish music by The Gas Men; and pub food, including corned beef sandwiches and grilled sausages. The festival is a benefit for the Chamber.

16: Great Allentown Brew Works Cask Beer Festival, Allentown, PA

Fegley’s Brew Works Brewers presents the Great Allentown Brew Works Cask Beer Festival, which will be held at Allentown Brew Works. This afternoon event will feature around 30 beers, including special cask ales from Allentown Brew Works and Bethlehem Brew Works; an Irish-themed buffet; and Irish step dancers. The 2013 Penumbra Beer Bash will take place at King's Hall in Seattle. This afternoon/evening event will feature beer from more than 25 Pacific Northwest breweries; a "Randall" competition; and entertainment, including bands, DJs, and live art performances. The festival charity is The World is Fun. VIP tickets, with extra beer tokens and a special selection of beers, are available.

16: Suwanee American Craft Beer Fest, Suwanee, GA

The third annual Suwanee American Craft Beer Fest will be held at Town Center Park in the heart of Suwanee. This afternoon event will feature a wide variety of beers (more than 75 breweries were represented at last year's event). There will also be a homebrew competition, live music from local artists, and food available for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission, a special selection of beer, and catered food, are available. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Kingdom Kids.

16: Yeofest, Yeoford, England

The Campaign for Real Ale and the Devon & Cornwall Rail Partnership present Yeofest 2013, which will take place in the Village Hall. The afternoon event will feature a variety of Real Ales and ciders along with food and snacks, live entertainment, and traditional games. Proceeds will benefit Yeoford Community Hall.

18-24: Nashville Craft Beer Week, Nashville, TN

Rhizome Productions presents Nashville Craft Beer Week 2013, which will take place at various locations in and around Nashville. A feature event of this year's Beer Week is the East Nashville Beer Festival (listed separately on the calendar. Other events will include beer dinners, meet-the-brewer events, releases, tap takeovers, and bar and in-store tastings.

20-23: Brazilian Beer Festival, Blumenau, Brazil

The 2013 Brazilian Beer Festival will be held at Parque Vila Germanica in Blumenau. This four-day event will feature around 500 beers, including more than 200 from Brazil, with over 60 breweries represented. There will also be an educational program; rock, blues, Celtic, and samba music; and dozens of food choices.

20-23: Leicester Beer Festival, Leicester, England

The Leicester Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2013 Leicester Beer Festival, which will take place at the Charotar Patidar Samaj. This event will feature more than 220 beers, including some festival specials. Most Leicestershire and Rutland breweries will be represented. About 85 beers, brewed within a 25-mile radius of Leicester, will be served at LocAle Bars. There will also be about 35 ciders and perries. Stilton cobs, pork pies, and other English food, as well as a selection of curries, will be available for purchase.

20-23: New England Real Ale Exhibition (NERAX), Somerville, MA

The Cask-Conditioned Ale Support Campaign (CASC) presents the 17th annual New England Real Ale Exhibition (NERAX), which will take place at the George Dilboy VFW Post in Somerville. There will be four tasting sessions in a pub-like atmosphere, each with a selection of cask-conditioned ales (recent festivals have featured around 90, including 50 from England, Scotland, and Wales and about 40 from the U.S., mostly from New England). The festivities will also include musical entertainment and barbecue from Redbones.

22-24: Ashbourne Beer Festival, Ashbourne, England

The Ashbourne & District Sub-Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the inaugural Ashbourne Beer Festival, which will take place at Town Hall. Organziers expect to have more than 30 beers, ciders, and perries. Traditional food will be available, and there will be live music Friday evening and Saturday.

22-April 1: Bank Holiday Cask Beer Festival, Wellington, England

The Haygate, a public house in Wellington, will host a Bank Holiday Cask Beer Festival. This 11-day mini-beer festival will feature variety of beers brewed in Shropshire, along with a selection of traditional ciders. There will be live music many evenings, and admission will be free most days.

22-23: Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue Festival, Timonium, MD

Trigger Agency, LLC, presents the Timonium stop on the 2013 Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue Festival tour. It will take place at the Cow Palace on the Timonium Fairgrounds. Friday evening's "Whole Hog Pig Pickin" will feature a barbecue dinner, unlimited bourbon and beer tasting, and four pit masters on hand. On Saturday afternoon, the regular session will feature unlimited sampling of 60 beers and 40 bourbons; live rock and blues music; barbecue and other foods; and seminars led by master distillers, brewmasters, and pit masters. Saturday VIP tickets with early admission, and all-session "Grand Poobah" tickets, are available. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Giving Spirit Foundation.

22-23: Gloucester Blackfriars Beer & Cider Festival

The Gloucester Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the Gloucester Blackfriars Beer & Cider Festival, which will take place at the 13th century Blackfriars Priory. Organizers expect to have 35 Real Ales, 12 ciders and perries, foreign bottled beer, live music and other entertainment, a local artisan cheese bar, and a quiet room.

22-24: Walthamstow Cricket Club Beer Festival, Walthamstow, England

The Waltamstow Cricket Club Beer Festival will host its second Beer Festival. This three-day event will feature a wide range of Real Ales. The ales will be provided by several brewers, including the local East London Brewing Company, which currently brews the Club's own 150th anniversary beer. The evening entertainment lineup includes a blues band, world-wide music, and a pub quiz.

22-23: Winchester Real Ale and Cider Festival, Winchester, England

The South Hants Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2013 Winchester Real Ale and Cider Festival, which will take place at the Winchester Guildhall. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions both days. Recent festivals have featured around 75 Real Ales, ciders, perries, and foreign bottled beers, along with hot and cold food and live entertainment on Friday evening and at both Saturday sessions. This year, author Pete Brown will host a tutored tasting on Friday afternoon (extra admission charge).

23: The Art of Beer Festival, Benton Harbor, MI

The third annual Art of Beer Festival will be held at the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center. This evening event will feature a wide range of American craft beers. There will also be live music and food and merchandise for purchase.

23: Craft Beer Day, Norderstedt, Germany

Craft Beer Day 2013 will be held at Kulturwerk am See in Norderstedt. This daytime/evening event will feature domestic and imported craft-brewed beers, along with live music, food for purchase, and interviews with brewmasters on the Craft Beer Stage. Admission is free. The festival website is completely in German.

23: DC Beer Festival, Washington, DC

Drink Eat Play presents the inaugural DC Beer Festival, which will take place at Nationals Park. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with beer from dozens of craft and international breweries, including beer brewed in D.C.; live music; and beer and food pairing classes. No tickets will be sold at the door.

23: East Nashville Beer Festival, Nashville, TN

Rhizome Productions presents the third annual East Nashville Beer Festival, which will take place in East Park in Nashville. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 40 breweries, including a number of Tennessee breweries; live music; the Whole Foods Market pairing tent; and food trucks. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Ride for Reading. There will be a post-festival party at 3 Crow Bar.

23: FestivAle, Madison, WI

Kintera presents the 2013 FestivAle Craft Brew Tasting, which will take place at a new venue, the Sheraton Hotel in Madison. This afternoon/evening event will feature a variety of local, national, and imported craft beers; beer experts and brewers in attendance; and (new this year) a homebrewing course, presented by The Wine and Hop Shop of Madison. Proceeds will go to the Arthritis Foundation.

23: Great American BBQ & Beer Festival, Chandler, AZ

Bashas' presents the fourth annual Great American BBQ & Beer Festival, which will take place at Dr. AJ Chandler Park in downtown Chandler. This all-day event will feature 200 kegs of craft-brewed beer; 12 bands performing on two stages, including headline act Smash Mouth; more than 30 barbecue vendors selling ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and chicken; over 100 exhibitors; a kids' zone; and a bike show.

23: Greater Gator Beer Festival, Gainesville, FL

Appliance Direct presents the 17th annual Greater Gator Beer Festival, which will take place at Magnolia Parke in Gainesville. This afternoon event will feature more than 100 beers on an all-you-can-taste basis, unlimited food samples from area restaurants, and live entertainment.

23-24: Hard Liver Barleywine Fest, Seattle, WA

Brouwer's Cafe, a beer bar located in Seattle, will host the 11th annual Hard Liver Barleywine Fest. This all-day, two-day will feature more than 55 breweries from around the world, many of them brewed in Washington State and the West.

23: Heidel House Brew Fest, Green Lake, WI

Heidel House Resort & Spa, in Green Lake, will host a Brew Fest. This afternoon/evening event will feature more than 100 beers from around Wisconsin, with brewery representatives on hand. There will also be appetizers and live entertainment by Dan Braaksma and Jason Davis.

23: Hops & Handrails, Longmont, CO

Left Hand Brewing Company will host the 2013 Hops & Handrails Beer Fest & Rail Jam. This family-friendly afternoon event will feature beer from nearly two dozen Colorado craft breweries, served alongside a 25-foot-high ski ramp. There will also be live music, snowboarding, local food, and merchandise vendors. Proceeds will go to SOS Outreach, A Woman’s Work, and the Colorado Brewers Guild.

23: Liquorland New Zealand Beer Festival, Auckland, New Zealand

Liquorland presents the 13th Auckland edition of the New Zealand Beer Festival, which will take place at The Cloud on Queens Wharf in Auckland. This all-day event will feature more than 150 beers from over 30 breweries, most f them from New Zealand; performances by a variety of musical groups; and an wide range of food for purchase.

23: Roar on the Shore, Luxemburg, WI

The Kewaunee and Dyckesville Lions Clubs present the seventh annual Roar on the Shore Beer and Wine Festival, which this year moves to a new and larger venue, the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds in Luxemburg. This afternoon event will feature microbrewed beer, with an emphasis on beer brewed in Wisconsin and Michigan, along with a selection of wines from the region. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Lions Clubs' charitable and civic activities.

23: Rock the Zoo, Phoenix, AZ

SRP presents Rock the Zoo 2013, which will take place at the Phoenix Zoo. This evening event, which is one of the zoo's largest fund-raisers, will feature a selection of beverages from than 30 local breweries, wineries, and distributors; a battle of the bands; food trucks; interactive activities; and a prize raffle. VIP tickets, with food from local restaurants, are available.

26-29: Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America, Washington, DC

The Brewers Association presents the 2013 Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America, which will take place at the Walter E.Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. This event is North America's number-one educational event for professional brewers, with four different learning tracks. Activities will include the World Beer Cup competition reception and dinner, trade shows, a wholesalers' conference, a keynote speaker and seminars, and brewery tours.

28-31: Egham Easter Beer Festival, Engham, England

The Ehgam Easter Beer Festival will be held at the Egham United Services Club. This event, one of three Egham beer festivals each year, will feature more than 60 beers from 25 breweries, mostly from Britain's newest breweries, along with a selection of ciders and perries. There will also be live music on Friday and Saturday; and hot and cold food for purchase at all sessions.

28-April 1: Spring Beer Festival at The Green Man, Kingsdown, England

The Green Man, a public house in Kingsdown, will host a Spring Beer Festival. This Easter weekend event will feature 25 locally-made ales and ciders, along with "food, fun and frolics aplenty."

29-31:  Emley Real Ale Festival, Emley, England

The 2013 Emley Real Ale Festival will be held at Emley Bandroom. This Easter weekend event will feature ten Real Ales on hand pull, along with Real Cider, wine, soft drinks, and food. Admission is free.

29-April 1: Fisherman's Retreat Beer Festival, Shuttleworth, England

The Fisherman's Retreat, a pub, restaurant, and whiskey house in Shuttleworth (near Ramsbottom), will host a Beer Festival. This Easter Weekend event will feature 40 locally-brewed Real Ales, along with cask-conditioned beers. There will be entertainment Saturday and Sunday evenings, and Monday will be a Family Fun Day.

29-30: Myrtle Beach Beer Fest, North Myrtle Beach, SC*

Piggly Wiggly and The Weekly Surge present the fifth annual Myrtle Beach Beer Fest, which will take place at a new location, the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach. This is a two-day, three session event. Past editions of this festival have featured more than 120 beers, with representatives from over 20 breweries in attendance; live entertainment; and a variety of vendors. VIP tickets, with early admission, a food buffet, and a special selection of beers, are available.

29-30: Planet Thanet Easter Beer Festival, Margate, England

The Thanet Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2013 Planet Thanet Easter Beer Festival, which will take place at Winter Gardens in Margate. Organizers to have more than 200 Real Ales, including a Garden of England bar showcasing beers from Kent. There will be live music Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday afternoon, along with a giant pub quiz on Saturday. Hot and cold food will be available at all times.

29-30: Spring Beer and Wine Fest, Portland, OR

Rosewood Productions, Inc., presents the 19th annual Spring Beer and Wine Fest, which will take place at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. This event will feature beer from more than 30 breweries, most of them from the Northwest. There will also be gourmet food, including the Tour de Cheese and Chocolate; cooking demonstrations on the Chefs' Stage; live music and dancing; and sports on the big-screen television.

29-30: Tatworth Beer Festival, Tatworth, England

The 2013 Tatworth Beer Festival will be held at the Tatworth Playing Fields. Organizers expect to have seven beers from seven different counties. Food will be available both days, there will be a quiz Friday evening and music by from Stocklinch Brewery on Saturday evening.

30: Brew-Woo, Worcester, MA

Brew-Woo 2013 will be held at Exhibition Hall in the DCU Center in downtown Worcester. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with a variety of local and national craft beers, live music, merchandise vendors, and a food court with items provided by local eateries.

30: Chicago Beer Festival, Chicago, IL

Drink Eat Play presents the second annual Chicago Beer Festival, which will take place at Union Station. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with beer from dozens of domestic and international breweries, including Chicago-brewed beer.

30: East Orlando Beer Festival, Orlando, FL

Appliance Direct presents the 2013 East Orlando Beer Festival, which will take place at the Waterford Lakes Town Center in Orlando. This afternoon event will feature a selection of beers from around the world, free food samples from area restaurants, and live entertainment. VIP tickets, with full beverage pours and expedited admission, are available.

30: Lyme Regis Beer Festival, Lyme Regis, England

The Three Brewers Beer Festivals presents the third annual Lyme Regis Beer Festival, which will be held at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis. This all-day event will feature a selection of locally-made beers and ciders; food, including a hog roast; and live local entertainment.

30-31: Mytchett Beer Festival, Mytchett, England

The 2013 Mytchett Beer Festival will return to the Mytchett Community Centre. This year's event will feature beers and ciders from around the country (there were 24 cask ales and four ciders last year). Food will be available for purchase, and there will be live music both evenings.

30: NYC American Craft Beer Festival, New York, NY

The Hand Crafted Tasting Company presents the "Spring Seasonals" edition of the NYC American Craft Beer Festival, which will take place at the Lexington Avenue Armory in Manhattan. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with around 150 craft beers from 75 breweries from around the country. Beer experts will conduct beer seminars, food will be available for purchase, and there will be a number of retail vendors on-site. VIP and Connoisseur tickets, with early admission and (for Connoisseurs) a private lounge with hors d'oeuvres and a special selection of beers, are available.

30-April 1: Pie & Ale Fest at the Rickinghall Car & Motorcycle Show, Rickinghall, England

The 26th annual Rickinghall Car and Motorcycle Show will be held at Rickinghall Village Hall. This three-day event will feature classic cars and motorcycles. There will be a beer tent, with a selection of guest ales along with hot meat pies. The weekend's events will also include music from local bands; food stalls, hog roasts, and barbecue; organized events for all ages; and children's activities, including rides, bouncy castles, and Punch and Judy. Camping is available on-site.
